Srry guys, I meant to buy. He has a great rep, and a post referencing selling. Worked with him before, on a sale, NOT A LOAN.
I explained in my post why I decided to try the loan option when I actually have the cash to buy. I know its a bit confusing. Now I feel like I may have said too much or something. Im not really sure where to draw the line when it comes to discussing transactions. Hope I didn't just fuck up!
Look, I live in the middle of no where, no working vehicle. Nearest wal mart is 35 miles away. No BOA...etc. On top of all this, I am trying to get these before the weekend, hopefully tomorrow morning. Had a chance tonight, but it only came through after stores were closed, so no mp or wu.
Do you have a credit card? Try btcQuick if you do.

I'm new to btc. About three weeks. Don't meet the posting requirements, and have only made one transaction. Trying to make my second, but it has become exceedingly difficult. I will provide any personal info requested. I am trying to find 3 btc. I can pay within 24 hrs after receiving.I am in a tough situation here. Really need to get these by tomorrow, or else I would just go through theymos, which I plan on doing next week. This would be a lifesaver for me, and would give me a nice chance to build my rep.
It's a longshot, I know. Or, maybe you would be willing to sell for mp?
wow, never thought it would be this hard!
Thanx either way, and you provide a great service which helps to bolster the community.

go through theymos?
I am curious about what theymos is up to also, does he lend or sell to noobs?

You don't take my meaning. You, BurtW, have two avenues open to you:

1. You buy ASICs.

2. You lend money to guy X who will buy ASICs and pay you interest.

Seems 2 is a lower net worth avenue than 1 (to you), due principally to CP risk and secondarily because it's certain you will receive less income this way but it's unclear what exact skill or equity person X contributes to justify that (ASICs, unlike GPU rigs, require very little of the operator). So, why would you need him?
You are totally correct.  I get these types of requests all the time and they are kind of funny when you think about it.  Usually I tell them one of two things:  "Hey that is a great idea!  You have convinced me to buy a couple more mining rigs.  Thanks!"  Or, if I am in a less sarcastic mood:  "The answer is no but if you are dead set on getting into mining at this point and you do not have the cash to do it then borrow the USD you need on a very low interest rate credit card or from friends and family".

hello burtw,

Would you be interested in a investment?
The 60 giga hash ASIC miners are estimated to come out at the end of November.
Each cost $1299 (Each)

I was interested in getting two.
Which at today pricing would be about $2598/($10.59801)=245.14(BTC)
The loan would go that once I received the two units,
I would pay you weekly, and until I have payed back 120% of the original amount.
Sooner the better, then sooner I can place the orders for the ASIC miners.
Let me know if interested.

Best regards
Lightlord

I wonder, why would he need you for this? He could just buy the ASICs outright, no?
I assume he just does not have access to the $2598 he needs, right?

BTW the request is just a tad ambiguous.  Do you mean to pay back 120% of the USD ammount in BTC or 120% of the BTC amount borrowed?  You just said "120% of the original amount".

Thanks for offering this, BurtW.

I'm still slightly on the n00b side of your requirements, but I'm not too far short of 300 posts now. I have made a couple of BTC trades through the forum with user Alwaysmining.

This type of honest lending service is very useful. No, I'm not asking for a loan here. Smiley
