I am trying to forget about bad experience as fast as possible, because crypto is developing and nobody knows when another bullish trend is going to take place. Forget about mistakes and move forward to achieve your goals.

A few weeks. I always manage not to get myself scammed too much. I actually was scammed for a few times and luckily, they're not huge amounts. It took e a couple of weeks to recover the lost by trading, joining some bounties or airdrops... Depending on lost amounts and sources of income, recovering time may vary. It may take only a few days for some people but also months for others.

Recovering would be different for different people, it might be a week for some people, and towards others, it might be a year. Mostly, what I could think about when getting scammed is the financial aspect of it. Like, imagine if you risked your savings and you lost it all. It would take a long time. The main thing about it is that the more significant the risked amount, the longer it would take to recover.

Let's say that X is the Risked amount, and Y is the time. The higher the X then greater the Y. It's directly proportional with each other, there's no other way around but to experience that.

One thing I could think of is the mental toll it has on the person. It could also be added, not just the financial part. It's all part of us, and we need to understand that some things are out of our control.

by mid-2018, I had completely stopped my crypto trading activities. more on long-term investments by holding potential assets in top markets such as bitcoin.
for the bounty campaign I still do it, even though there are many scam projects, and I don't give up on getting the best project.

All  of us here, as bounty hunters and investors, get scammed one time or another, maybe hundreds or thousands of dollars
so I would like to ask the  Length of time you can recover after getting scammed.

Do you look for another project right away so you can recover your losses or you totally stopped investing.

I have not been quite a victim of scam but on fewer occasions I got ripped, I get over the sad incident in less than 24 hours because of the fact that I always invest with funds I can afford to loose. I am very meticulous investor and as we speak, my trade funds have been converted to usdt and sent to my private wallet (imtoken) from Binance

Each investment place have an own risk for sure, I must have a petience and even I should have a thought when I spent money for investing then I should be willing to lose all of my money. Somehow how it will happens I don't know it because the price of the project itself who has no potential to compete another coins or for the reason of the hacker.

I won't stoping to invest when I got scammed, even I'll try hard to disgorge my money when I was scammed. It will make me aware that I must have a knowledge about cryptocurrencies and some part that I should know when investing on cryptocurrencies. At least I'll make it as a learning to avoid it and try to evaluate everytime when my strategy has achived.

do not know the right time to recover the losses that have been experienced but if I am personally ready to return in this industry then I will do it, because it is not easy for those of us who have lost big money to return the initial capital. and the way I did at that time was with trade because it was faster to return my money.

I get the capital back after 2 months later, then I will look for other projects and avoid unclear projects.

If you got scammed the first time you are investing, you will have a hard time to recover, because you are on a bad start, but if you have at least three successful investment and you know that there's a possibility that you'll get scammed, then you can recover easily and take it as a lesson to learned to invest better.

yes I have also experienced this, and the fact is that when someone has experienced a large amount of loss, it is not easy to recover or cover their losses in a short time. but my way to deal with the harsh reality is to take a vacation to relieve stress and if I have found another solution or strategy, then I will return to the market to cover my losses gradually.

I am trying to recover but my losses were big so may be i need more time to recover. I haven't got anything real big in rewards considering what i lost. Though my loss was not in cryptocurrencies, it was in HYIP program and lost around 30k usd worth of money.

I may never really recover what was lost from me until maybe BTC wil be worth $100K and the tokens I hold will multiply up to about 1000x. I experience longer days thinking about it so I have to collect thru the bounty campaigns I'm joining for maybe when BTC rise high I can trade better with more capital. Scalping for few bucks a week is not enough to recover.

It's hurt, to get scammed after you did all you can do, but all of hardwork before didn't get paid (i've experienced it). When that happened, i stopped for a while, learn and join on other bounty so i didn't fall twice.

Getting a SCAM project is very disappointing, but we have to be able to move on from that situation as soon as possible, don't bury your feelings for too long because it has a very negative impact.

This scam is why many people has even left the cryptocurrency space, I have some friends that has been scammed several times, and they have said buy to the crypto space like forever, but I believe that they will still come back one day, but right now, every effort that I have made to talk them into why they made mistake, and why they should do their research before investing, fell into deaf ears, and I understand because if it was me, I may likely do the same too.

This is the reason why I just made up my mind to invest in top 10 coins alone while other coins that I have, I worked for its bounty campaign to get it. When getting into an investment, everyone must make sure that the project can be completely relied on, and the best projects still remains these top 10.

In a sense, I was lucky. I have not invested through ICO. Only through exchanges.
As for bounty. Only many years of experience can help avoid scam projects. Do not tilt, you need to draw conclusions and continue to go on your way.

Why do you ask the right question to me this time  Cry Cry Cry
I just got scammed by a bounty campaign, even they was listed, the amount is not great but the feeling is really very disappointing. I tried to explain and find ways to get them to think again, but the answer was always no. Maybe I need a sleep and start tomorrow as if nothing has happened.

I got scammed only one time, i invested in a small exchange with few trading pairs available and also managed manually, i bought their own token i was KYC verified user but they disable my account, when i approach their support on telegram they told me that i was cheating them, they said i deposit less and withdraw more, that time i laugh hard on their excuse but literally i lost my money, that incident happened 5 months ago and till now I've made x3 of that money which I've lost.

That's really too bad glad that you recover the money you've lost, but you should name the exchange and create a scam thread so you can warn others about their activity, they can do that again to other traders if they are not reported.
It's cryptoa.com it's not that famous as i said earlier they've done to many users especially with investors and immediately blocked them on telegram and all that. They're in the market to just scam because they launched since November and yet no volume at all in any pair and their own excuse token is at 20 sat after 1$. People are already got scammed.

To be honest i have stopped investing almost completely due to severe losses over one or more year of bear markets, while as far as bounty campaigns are concerned i do try to stay active as much as i can despite getting scammed because i think it is always better to move on.
