Volume is $314 in last 24 hours on there exchange.  Look out!!!

But hey, isn't it backed by something like 10,000 merchants  Roll Eyes.

yep i bet if leocoin has your email to spam they count you as a merchant (or at least that is how i heard of them SPAM) .. Wink

sounds a legit way to count merchants right? once they hear of leocoin  via spam you will fly out the door to take it at the storefront Smiley

sheesh.....what is bad about this is the fact that the worldwide press..and legit worldwide press just went with this farce saying it was gonna replace
bitcoin w/o any due diligence or research..if the media bought this tripe just because it would bring eyeballs to their media pages..well .....it is worse
then i thought with the free press in the world......sh*t much much worse ..if this above leocoin pump and dump is any indication

now time for leocoin  at www.buy-leocoin.org

You are about 12 months late for buying a dead at coin, rebranding it with lies and pump and dumping. Sorry for your wasted effort.

heh..their pump is working 'flawlessly" imho..........now when they dump all that pre-mined coin at the top of the hype..that will
show us if they can bring a dead coin type (more or less) zombie like..long enough to dump for the $$

(gets popcorn......circus is in town......lots of advertising......he gets into the cannon...will he hit the net and will the circus
make its $$$ before the whole thing moves on to another scam..er I mean town)

drum roll please

(1) How much are LEOcons to buy (£ or $)? It looks like you have to install a wallet before you can attempt to buy and so see the price.

You don't need a wallet, and you can buy here: https://bx.in.th/BTC/LEO/

Two questions:

(1) How much are LEOcons to buy (£ or $)? It looks like you have to install a wallet before you can attempt to buy and so see the price. At least that's how it appeared to me from a failed attempt on their site, http://www.leocoin.org/, where you have to follow the steps under the "Let's get started" section. Is that the only way to get into LEOcoins?

(2) Can you view transactions on the LEOcoin blockchain, like what you can on https://blockchain.info/?

Their site (http://www.leocoin.org/) looks quite professional. But odd it's got a typo ",much simpler then the online banking we all know." under the "USER FRIENDLY" section?

Seems shady. Is there even an ANN thread?

I can't find one. There was a leocoin user created on June 17, 2014 that has never been used.

Hi,

I did some some research on the people behind Leocoin.

Dan Andersson, the Leocoin founder , had been involved in the top management of Unaico Ltd some years ago.
Leocoin Co-founder Atif Kamran was also involved in that company:

The company was later renamed to Sitetalk – OPN.

From Wikipedia:
“Both Pakistani and Chinese authorities have given their citizens official warnings against getting involved with Unaico and reviewing the company as an illegal pyramid schemes and scams.”

The original wikipedia entry is in Norwegian, but google translate works fine.

Here is the warning:

Github for Leocoin is at
https://github.com/Leocoin-project/LEOcoin

A guy from Gaza named Sync claims to have developped the coin as a freelance job.
http://proofofdev.com/sync-sync/

What does " LEO Company Stock: 50 Million LEO (5%)" mean in the github description?

(I am not a coin expert...)

Maybe it is worth to dig more...

Yeah leocoin is a scam coin. there's no announcement, it's pure premined scam shit.

Yeah....the press worldwide took the bait..and without any kind of research....at taking the bait that leocoin is the 2nd largest alt coin behind bitcoin in the world

(i mean i knew journalistic standards were sloppy..but I mean really???)

examples of folk passing along this hype w/o any fact checking

http://www.techweekeurope.co.uk/e-enterprise/financial-market/leocoin-bitcoin-uk-digital-cryptocurrency-165134

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/25/bitcoin-braces-up-for-rival-leocoin/

seems the above clueless hype is moving to the mainstream media ...also w/o any kind of checking of the facts

cnbc link

http://www.cnbc.com/id/102533747

heh cryptocurrencynews is NOT amused...by this pump and dump lie/scam etc

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/leocoin-claims-second-largest-digital-currency-bitcoin-bullshit/

anyway as far as I can tell....there is NO github source code on this....it is a POW (only cpu and gpu) and POS coin combo

and everything they are saying is either exaggerated or fluff...

but then again this launch gets eyeballs to your site...so who cares...and better yet if it is a scam you get even more eyeballs when that happens...so you double the fun
on your news web site....and to top it off if you throw bitcoin around enough in the mix you can slam that either for or against in the articles depending on which for even
more readership

win/win/win

and of course any 'correction's' or miss information you can also make a story out of that as well or just bury the redaction  a few months from now on a daughter page on
the site

success/scam/whatever .....plenty of eyeballs on the old news web page.....its all about the eyeballs and the ads don't ya know....
