Maybe you can add how crypto currencies involved, like the pre-cursor of bitcoin so that your students will understand how everything evolved and how bitcoin become the prime mover. You can also add disclaimer that bitcoin could be treat as investment, but you have to be very careful and understand the risk involved. Only, scams are more prevalent now, with a lot of fake giveaways, bitcoin doublers and others that they can easily fall for the trap if they didn't do any research and blatantly trust someone.

General introduction, history and who made it.

What it is used for, used as payment for various services.
If you're still stuck, I can still provide more answers.

Can you expound more on the "payment for various services" part? Because I could guarantee that people would ask you "why do we need to use bitcoin? Why not just use USD/GDP/etc? and bitcoin is volatile etc etc".

Sure, they will definitely ask. I can actually tell them a lot. I'm still gathering more information. If this question was thrown at you as a teacher how would you answer it?

You must explain how the fee work too. Also, explaining what is "scam" such as ponzi, mlm, hyip, etc and how to avoid them. Most newcomer think that they are legit, especially with 'fake' cloud mining (i don't recommend the real one tho).

If some of your student interested, don't forget to tell them to backup their seeds or private key.

I will practically do that in front of everyone of them. And tell them not to make use of the wallets opened for practical purposes as one or two of them could hack into their wallets.

1. General introduction to Bitcoin
2. What it is used for

I'm honestly more curious about how you're going to explain things rather than your "lesson plan", as this part is quite critical. Can you give us a quick explanation on parts 1 and 2 here? How are you going to describe Bitcoin, and what is Bitcoin for according to you?

So, I made a post about me teaching college students about Bitcoin and it's usage. I asked for  few things that would make up my lesson plans here.https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54708539 The positive replies I got was enough for me. So, I came up with these;

1. General introduction to Bitcoin
2. What it is used for
3. Introduction to a forum dedicated for discussion of Bitcoins named Bitcointalk Forum
4. Mining
5. Digital skills
6. Last week would be used for quizzes and setting up Bitcoin accounts and prizes would be won for serious students among them.

Your criticism is a welcome one too. Embarrassed
