Need a new group of cashed up investors to become interested in bitcoin.  Dell, Expedia, etc announcements of taking bitcoin payments have been priced in.  Even if Amazon announced tomorrow that they're doing bitcoin payments (and of course instantly converting to USD$) I wouldn't expect any jump in bitcoin's price.

Maybe bitcoin is finally big enough to attract mainstream attention (and piles of cash) of Wall Street's gamblers.  Not just the current trickle, but mass adoption.

When there are insured Bitcoin bank accounts, Joe Public will hold Bitcoin.  Until then, the COIN ETF will allow Joe Public to invest in it.

Over 8000 bitcoins is being held by this new project. As long as there are more investors, price of bitcoin will keep dropping due to cashing out.

Back in the old days it took 4k-10K BTC to be considered a dump.  Now it's a panic sell if somebody unloads even 500?

I wonder what the OP would have done when it went from 135 to 78 in 1 afternoon - probably passed out cold on the floor.

Stop calculating in coins, u cant realy compare 4k bitcoin dump when coin were few bucks with todays price of ~600$.
Anyways, this is only the beggining, as i see it were going nowhere but down for atleast 2-3 months, and if the price doesnt recover then, we could just see something epic (but not in a good way)

Probably people in need of money to pay bills.

Its not uncommon to see end of month falls because people need to pay bills and electricity of their mining gears.

Yes it was going down but now you have to post the chart updated  Smiley
The drop was quick but the price isn't crashed, just a little drop after weeks of stagnation.
this is a very small drop when compared to other crashes of bitcoin.

I think we will be back in the $600s in no time, there isn't any real legitimate reason why we would be going down in price right now anyway...

One usually sees this when the price stagnates with insufficient buying support. Market participants see this and take advantage.

Markets are said to fall on their own weight, here is a good example of that.
