That´s a very good suggestion. It´s the method I follow and I also tend to strictly limit the amount of risky investments, both in size and in number. Sometimes I got lucky, sometimes not. Moreover, I have also noticed that the riskier investments tend to give a false sensation of hope that may amplify the losses, just my two cents.
