You'll never guess in a million years whose fault it was in messing up the count. I'll give you a hint: After Christmas Christmas Special (or see post #59 of this thread). I've just thought of something. From now on, anytime there's an epic fail on this forum (or elsewhere), refer to it as #59 (or 59, or Post 59, or Post59, or Post #59). It'll be our (bitcoiners) own inside joke, and perhaps it may go viral one day.
With that said, I want to thank all those involved, especially Foxpup, in coming up with a simple solution to having the numbered images back in sync with the post count.

Why does it matter?Because one post, one image, one number is just The Way It's Supposed To Be. It's just logical. Now stop ruining everything.

Keep the numbers and the post count synchronised, please. I can't stress that enough. How else are we supposed to keep track of which number we're up to once we reach the millions?
Learn to count higher. And we're counting from one; that is, the first post was number one, the first reply was number two, and so on. For reference, this post is number 67 (as you can see next to the "quote" button). But thanks to you, I have to also include numbers 65 and 66.

Since 21 million coins will take forever, how about we make things more interesting and allow someone to post a number only on the condition that they have that amount in Bitcoins in a verifiable wallet. (I.e. if you don't have 100 bitcoins, you can't post "100").
