I'm wondering why some people are still doubting about the bitcoin future. The bitcoin is only 10 years old and since from it invention the bitcoin is the biggest online trend on the web for 10 years. Many experts believes the second biggest invention of our time after the internet.

Bitcoin is the currency of this age
Bitcoin is still an evolving digital currency, with new acceptance daily globally, the long price instability and bearish market trend in 2018, doe not signify the death of Bitcoin, checkout on coinmarket the past trend of BTC price,it has always being on the increase after a long bearish trend, BTC will soon be  a reference point in the near future. Several negativity is a sign of BTC influence.

Yes either the fudders gave not seen this thread or are afraid to vote as this
thread is proof that they are in a minority (we know that anyway) but it puts
it out in the open for all to realise.

I would like to see more numbers though.

Bitcoin will survive the present situation and will come out victorious. It will be $20 000 come 2019 and much more in the nearest future.

I am surprised to see that no one has voted for NO yet even after getting 20 votes. Whenever I am looking at "Speculation" section, it gives me an image that bitcoin is dead already. Probably those fudders have not yet seen this thread otherwise I expected something different. Actually everyone is bullish about bitcoin in long term. Only investors who invested in bitcoin during late 2017, are the ones who are crying and spreading fake news. Rest all are fine!

The ones that are negative about bitcoin have left this forum already. Us remainers still have faith that things will turn around, it might take a while but it always recovers going past the previous ATH

17 people voted "Yes" and nobody voted "No". Grin
I guess that the FUDsters and haters just won't join this poll.Anyway,I don't believe in sociology. The fact that many people have faith in bitcoin doesn't mean that bitcoin will grow and last forever.

There are only two ways this polls could go,if it's conducted on this forum, being a bitcoin talk forum,80% will all claim the bitcoin is everything good and a technology worth any investment
But if it's to be conducted on a neutral basis for non bitcoiners,i think 80% will categorize the bitcoin as a scam, ponzi, bet, etc.
So I think it's gonna be very difficult to get a genuine accurate report or review

I'm really really interested in such a poll. But as this is a bitcoin/cryptocurrency-related forum; where people here are holders of cryptocurrencies in general, so the results are definitely going to be heavily on the positive side. I'd definitely be really interested to see the results if the poll was made on a technology general forum and a sort of economics-focused forum though.

A lot of the negativity and FUD are coming from people with hidden agendas, namely :

~ Shills - Paid by the competition to spread FUD.
~ Supporters of other Alt coins, like BCash.
~ Butthurt crowd - The people who made bad decisions and wants to take revenge on the technology that they are blaming for those bad decisions.

~ Newbies - Those people who only joined in 2017 and who has not experienced Bitcoin's previous crashes and volatility.

Hope this makes things a bit more clear now.  Wink

Voted yes since I firmly believe that Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market is here to stay no matter what. Their values will fluctuate and I doubt this situation will ever change with time. Volatility is clearly one of the primary characteristics of this market if you haven't observed already. I honestly would be sad if Bitcoin fell below $1k, but I am confident that it will always bounce back no matter what. Logically, the supply and demand logic will help this market stay afloat no matter what happens. I tend to ignore the crazy amount of FUD that FUDers spread on a regular basis.

Where is my ring of blades...
why would anyone who doesn't believe in bitcoin potential or someone who is not heavily involved with it by having a large stake in bitcoin spread FUD about it nonstop? most of the FUDs are because the person wants to buy more bitcoin in the dip and is scaring others away to get a better deal.

I think most people are doubtful of bitcoin to begin with. It's just the default position on most people's mind. Time has a way of changing that. I don't think people are trying to play the market using FUD with the exception of maybe China. The establishment would love for bitcoin to fail altogether.

being doubtful about something as new and revolutionary AND different is a logical thing and it has happened to every single person who has heard about bitcoin even the experts. but FUD is a different thing. someone who has doubts will start investigating and will create one topic tops and tries to ask questions to clear his doubts.
someone spreading FUD is creating dozens of topics and fills them with nonsense trying to create panic among newbies who don't understand what they are doing.
so don't confuse these two!

I'm surprised no one voted NO. But then again, the bitcoin community, like bitcoin itself has a good record of swimming upstream and defying expectations.

OK with a lot of fudding, negativity, trolling and spamming I truly believe
those involved are in the minority and are getting more airtime and attention
than they deserve.

I agree with this, most people are spreading FUDs and trolls around creating fake news etc. to affect a lot of users of the cryptocurrency industry and make a negative impression about cryptocurrency so when the price goes down those FUD spreaders and troll spreaders might take advantage at the dip and gain at bull.

But sometimes trolls and fake news didn't affect the market at all but investors who're new or who afraid about what will happened to their investments. So if you're investor you should ready to accept any circumstances isn't?

It's a Bitcoin forum so the votes will be biased. People who come here are either enthusiasts, investors, traders, or losers who sold and lost money and want to share their frustration with the rest of us. If you see ponzi scheme accusations or other stupid shit just ignore it and move on.

So lets cast a simple vote to show everyone and especially the newbies
that bitcoin is a long game and not to panic about the negativity.

I will run this until December the 24th.
It is obvious that Cryptocurrency will be the future of money. It is not certain whether this money will Bitcoin. But in my opinion being global may be the reason for its acceptance. So think of the USD, just USA can create it and that means they can use the money as they want and surely USD is the power of USA. But if Bitcoin is accepted, the power will be in the hands of who deserve it.
