It's 12 years since Satoshi released Bitcoin whitepaper and since then, the numbers of believers have been increasing. Which turns out that it's good.
Cryptocurrency is freedom, and who doesn't?
Decentralization isn't scam. It's open source. It's the best gift. Only a person without proper understanding will think it's a scam.

And that is indirectly saying that the OP has no proper understanding.  Tongue If you will look at his post history, he has some bitterness to bitcoin or crypto but wonder why he is still here wasting his time, if he doesn't believe in bitcoin. Anyway, we don't have to assume that bitcoin is scam because it is not. Plain and simple.
Bitcoin is simply not a scam because it is continuously improving as time goes by. Its improvement is getting bigger and bigger because before, the price of bitcoin is just 50$ and now it is hitting 14,000$ and not yet giving a sign of it that getting lower so it still can fight until it hits 15,000$. If it hits 15,000$ we will earn a lot and it will be the proof that bitcoin is not a scam. People will only say that it is a scam if the price goes down to the floor.

I wonder why would OP assume that it is a scam when it has already been more than a decade and the price has been growing yearly.
Isn't it enough proof to say that it isn't a scam? What more does OP need to believe that it isn't scam.

i think the question to ask the @op is that how many scam project he has come across that lasted for more than 10 years and still going strong? before people start making irrelevant post about what they have less knowledge about, it will be best to make some inquiries and research as well, the op just lack understanding just as you already stated, he is just seeking attention and nothing more.

I don't think so that bitcoin is a scam. I have seen a lots of proof payment through bitcoin and I experienced to earn bitcoin on my own. Some people may think that bitcoin is a scam if they dont know how the bitcoin currency works and I believe that its natural that people may think that a bitcoin is a scam.

if bitcoin is a scam what about other altcoins? is it also likely to collapse? but now big companies really believe in bitcoin and other investors and whales also believe in bitcoin and it took months with the collapse of bitcoin for everyone to withdraw their assets and it could be 50% losing money or the worst case scenario could be up to 10- 20% separated from our assets

As for the other altcoins, there really is a lot of scam!
As for the fact that the bitcoin might collapse - in fact it might really get cheaper, like up to $1000 or $100, but the network will still work! That is, this working technology cannot be destroyed!  And it is quite possible to manipulate the price...

I can't understand why anyone would think that bitcoin is scam or ponzi. There are many other similar topic about it on this forum and any are all well answered by top member of the forum. There is no reason to think that Bitcoin is scam. If it was scam this could be exposed years ago bitcoin is also open source and anyone can see the the codes, so there is no chance of any backdoor on it. People talking about this case in social media just trying to bring FUD and make people to sell bitcoins so they can buy bitcoin for cheaper price themselves(smart people).
Usually, those who say Bitcoin is a scam have fallen victim to Ponzi projects and end up scams. If they studied bitcoin and cryptocurrency thoroughly, they would realize that getting into a Ponzi project would be very risky. Before they understood the whole technology in bitcoin. they only think about multiplying money and are influenced by a project that they think will get rich instantly. finally, they fall victim to a scam and say that bitcoin is a scam.

I see, he is is just casting doubt to the people who are not familliar with it and maybe he is someone who doesn't really like how bitcoin dominated the entire crypto market. No matter how you guys work to dirty the names of Bitcoin, it won't really do anything to its current value. Just live your life to the foolest.

I can say its normal and I'm sure you are doubting it also when you first heard about bitcoin, many are just scared to lose that's why they are so careful on where they  are putting their money. But for sure once they see a person who can teach them about the things they need to learn and what to do about some certain situation especially on investment then provably they will join us here for long time period and try to earn on mysterious market of bitcoin.

at first, it was only natural that someone would think Bitcoin was a scam. that's a natural thing, especially for people who don't know the details.
It reasonable for someone who dont understand a bit about Bitcoin to say its a scam and i said cause i was once among those that have such believe about Bitcoin before I later understand it true concept and it hurt that my naive act hindered me from making Millions of USD through BTC cause I would have be among the early adopters if i take my time to study Bitcoin.

Polo7, everything thats scam will only be done or closed down when people decide not to use it or be among the victim

they only see bad assumptions or news that are lies, not according to facts. however over time, bitcoins prove that they are an important part of the cryptocurrency world. and breaking public lies regarding scam bitcoin. the proof is that until now, bitcoin is still the number one digital currency in the world.

Let's just it is scam
How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Just humble speculation Let's play out the worse case scenario hope for the best prepare for the worse!
Let's say that Bitcoin is a scam (which technically not) then I think this will leave a devastating result on everyone not only on every single individual but also on those big corporations who already adopt this technology, in short everything will be messed up. However, it is clear that Bitcoin was not a scam because if it does then it will have been discovered by someone else before.
Bitcoin was once received a lot of criticism before that it is fraud and just a scam, creating a FUD all over the market but look at it now everyone is eagerly going for it.

How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Let's say its scam we know today so how long we have time until it collapse?
No one knows, did anyone predict that Bitcoin will go beyond and will set its ATH at $20k? Therefore, we also don't know when it will collapse.

lets say you are the Scam and not Bitcoin?  Grin

But the opposite when many say scam.  precisely from Bitcoin, many people who WFH can make money.  because many out there were fired from companies due to the economic impact during the pandemic.  And I'm grateful that from crypto I can still survive
it is not because you can make money from bitcoin but the utility use of these currency that can save us from the pandemic.

and also the option of making this coin as asset to be hold for long term.

Member like OP are very easy to spot. I didn't even check post history. It's just bad energy coming from OP. Guess OP had a bad experience lately.
In my opinion everything could be a scam, even bitcoin, bitcoin was born as a decentralized cryptocurrency.

Does this mean you're in support of OP that bitcoin could end up being scam?
If Bitcoin is scam, then what about the fiat? What about the financial system?
Decentralization is the best thing to happen in this century.

Why we must say it is scam? We have no reasons to claim it a "scam".
You are stupid if calling it is a scam just thinking someday the Bitcoin may collapse. Everything has an end and Bitcoin probably won't survive a long time. But this is a general thing, not a reason to say something a scam based on the fact. IMO, you speak carelessly without thinking much of the proofs or strong reasons first.

Let's play out the worse case scenario hope for the best prepare for the worse!
Not sure about what you state above! Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean exactly.
But surely no one must spend all their money to invest in Bitcoin. Everyone must know if it is a high risk of crypto investment, then I believe if everybody here already plans everything before they join it. It is a fundamental thing in crypto investment!

In my opinion everything could be a scam, even bitcoin, bitcoin was born as a decentralized cryptocurrency ,now many things have changed since 2009, the spirit of bitcoin is no longer the same as when it was born, now it has become a very speculative cryptocurrency. Many sniffed the deal and threw themselves in.
Well if you talk about scam then there are many scam here worst than bitcoin. However, I can't say that bitcoin is scam because people are exchanging it with their fiat and that how bitcoin market was decided. Bitcoin became like a gold and that like an asset. If anything that is connected to fiat currency that thing will have the value already. This is the reason why bitcoin too became volatile. And when you check the bitcoin feautures then we can say that it has a good feature which you can take advantage.

Everyone can say bitcoin is a scam, but as Linux Torvalds says "talk is cheap, show me the code"...

If you prove that bitcoin is a scam then it will instantly collapse, but since no one can prove it, then it will not happen. The code behind the coin is what proves it fairness. So, you can try if you want but is a game where you will lose.

Yes, for those who are not familiar with it, they will call bitcoin a scam.

People say that an ignorant people will hate a certain thing that they are not knowledgeable about especially if it doesn't benefit them.

There are a lot of people who are against it because they think that it is only a fraud, but little did they know that it is really a good source of profit once it is in a good price. If you challenged bitcoin with that kind of mindset then you will probably fail.

Do you know what I will say? I will say no, bitcoin is not a scam. I will say the people who say bitcoin is scam is the real scammer -_- don't get offended.
I like the bitcoin ecosystem and it's decentralisation. I don't think any other thing in the world can maintain a good decentralised ecosystem like bitcoin. It's an asset, so price up down is a common things for it. And it doesn't means bitcoin is a scam.
