No , here I will not buy any amount of the Bitcoin because I am totally scared also due to its price , when the price of the Bitcoin reached to 230000INR ( indian currency ) then a news spread in the market that the price will reach 2lakh , so due to this news I bought Bitcoin of value 400$ and after the buy the Bitcoin get dropped to 500$ in the evening , that was really terrible moment for me .
Now I am thinking to sell my btc at the same price at which I bought , because I don't want loss my money anymore .
Today I made descion that I will not sell my btc , rather will hold Bitcoin earned from.the campaign and altcoin trading .

you should have bought around the time this topic was started. by that time it was THE big dip to buy at. and price went down to $1800-$1900 for a brief window of opportunity. now price has recovered from the drop.

people always forget about recoveries. the same way there is a recovery (aka correction) for a big fast rise, there is a recovery for a big fast drop too.

I will continue to buy bitcoin even for others it is literally expensive but like others community said here that if you believed that bitcoin will become 10, 000$ no reason for us to stop buying bitcoin.

Im not buying, im still holding my bitcoin since $1200, and now its above $2000 so why would i buy, i just need to wait for it to be stable then i will change it to fiat. I can wait, i know how to wait, and patience is a virtue, so its better to wait than to regret my decisions. My friends invested bitcoin the other day and the next day, it dumps. So i dont want to be like them.

I need to buy something like 0.10 BTC for something I had arranged for in a while, but trying my best to laze around to see if the price will fall before I buy, I'll use it right away so even a crash won't matter much, but I still would like to save some USD if possible.... The trend seems to be moving positively now though.

Something bad has happened to bitcoin, just 2 nights ago it spiked above 3k $ each but yesterday it fell to 2500$ but it did not stop going down. Just this morning the price wnet down to 2100$ per coin and it was a shock I hoped I have sold it when it was high and buy more coins when it was low. But due to greed I did not make a good judgement and so the value of my coins went down.

Nice thread mate. I was also thinking the same. Community members this past weeks complaining that the price of bitcoin is too high for them. So now is the best time to buy back bitcoins and accumulate more before it is pump again and see the price goes to $3000. Buy now or regret(complain) later... again....

I think also those people are rich and have a lot of money if they see bitcoin dump or down they decide to buy bitcoin more because if they buy bitcoin at cheap price and hold it for few weeks only they can earn money for sure. They earn 50% profit possible. As of now many people for sure buy bitcoin because the price is contiously decreasing so they have a chance to buy bitcoin more. But if you think this is not right time wait until you reach your target price.

How much percentage of your total monthly income you invest in Bitcoin?

you always invest the extra amount of money that you have after expenses not the fixed percentage of your monthly income. this means you deduct the expenses from your salary and then put some aside for emergencies and then if anything was left you invest that into bitcoin.
his numbers is only true if he either makes a lot of money monthly or he has so little expenses.

I`m scared to buy bitcoins mostly because of the scammers,not because of the price.
I will never buy bitcoins,i prefer to earn them.

I am one of those who took advantage of the drop and bought some coins in hope to gain profits short term and long term. Although I am quite surprised that the price dropped drastically and I mean its like $300 USD I think if I am not mistaken, but as of now I see that the price is starting to climb again but not as fast as it dropped today.

High prices scare people, because they think that those prices are the upper turning point for this spike in the price. If we can sustain this extreme volatility for a week or two, we might find that more people will get used to this < like we are > and then start buying at these prices.

I have a gut feeling that this is not just a temporary spike in the price like last time. The Asian markets have always had a huge influence in the price, and they have been quite for a while now. We might see some prolonged volatility until these Chinese exchanges have sorted out their problems. ^hmmmmm^

Sure! Why not? The most important thing is stocking up irrespective of the price. I see no reason why I should only wait for price drop to buy as long as I have the money to do so. Nevertheless, I am sure this is just a correction as it is recovering already. It all depends on your pocket. Most people prefer to even earn rather than buy which i prefer too, as your mind is always settled knowing the risk is low compared to when you buy. But for bitcoin, the risk is worth taking.
