No getting paid from any bounties is very common today, if you want to be a bounty hunter you have to think about this risk of not getting anything first, it's inescapable, I suggest you take bounties like side hustle and yes don't take things too seriously, I'm not saying you shouldn't do your job as a bounty hunter but limit your expectations

There is no gain helping scammers, why would anyone willingly promote scam projects ? It doesn't make sense, bounty projects appears to have something good to offer but on the long run they mostly ends in bad results, it's all about how lucky you are, you won't know which project will turn out good until you promote them, bounty hunters are risk takers

Choosing a bounty scam project or not is quite difficult, I only choose a project that is handled by a trusted bounty manager, if the bounty project is a scammer, I will no longer want to promote it
Even though you use that method I think you need to look at some time ago, some reputable bounty managers cannot guarantee that the bounty campaign can be successful and the distribution is smooth or not because the task of the bounty manager, in my opinion, only sets the participants to record all the tasks that the campaign participants have done.

It's not so difficult as there was a lot of thread that has already explained about which indicators that mostly used to determine how good the bounty campaign or the project. The fact that the scam project got revealed at the end of campaign and this is something that needs to be avoided.

Be careful which bounty projects you promoting, we start blaming projects once they turn scam for not paying us but we helped them scam many investors of their money, remember, the more we helping scam project the more crypto will get bad names, investors who don't know anything about crypto but took the risk anyways and end up losing his or her money will no doubt says crypto is scam....
Bounty hunters aren't helping scammers, if they knew the projects are scam they won't dare promote them, scam projects are so dubious that they can be hard to fish out some times even if you do hard research on them, we can't blame bounty hunters here because they don't know.

There is no way to stop scammers on this forum, you can easily escape some worse projects that can be easily detected but few are undetectable, you won't know until the project raised fund successful
Yes, it is clearly very difficult to stop scammers in this forum, moreover the scammers are also very clever in making advertisements and their promises that can make many people get hooked by the strategy they made.

This is a call to everyone, to always do their research before promoting any bounty.
And not that alone, whenever you discover that a project is a fraudulent one, do not hesitate to  call out the project and make everyone aware of their scammish acts.

With enough facts and proofs, which is why you need to dyor

Indeed, sometimes bounty hunters help market scam projects because they forget to research properly if the project is legitimate or not.
No, bounty hunters promoted scam projects almost every time and it not that they forget to do research but they ignore the research part and only after making some few bucks. If you check the bounty section you will see alot of bounty hunters joining campaign like bots. I think the best way to limit bounty hunters promoting scam project is the mods restricting newbie from joining any campaign.
^ Because it is hard to know in the first place, we don't know when they will become to exit scam even they look legit project. Even we do research but still, there are the projects that turn out to scam. No one will promote project if they will know from the beginning that it is a scam and we are so much thankful here that we have a lot of members that keep busting scam projects even though they spend a lot of time without paying as a scam buster. Nevertheless, if you are the promoter of the project, at least after 1-2 months you will know who they are.

Too many scammer in this market and too many bullshit projects. We can analyze and remove them, but there will certainly be a few projects out of our control. They can become scams even though their tokens are already listed at the exchanges

For a cryptocurrency project at its earliest stage it's usually hard to determine where the project is really heading. And for bounty hunters most of them do not do some serious analysis on these projects before they do the participation. If some possible ways of determining the possible outcome of a project could be introduced into the industry, it would help a lot to stop helping such scammers.

Well it is difficult to determine which project is a scam and legit because some projects that looks promising and legit but scam in the end even you do a research the project, but I still always do research before I participate the bounty campaign although is not 100% that you know if this is a scam or not, but if the project suspicious then I will not participate the campaign.

Yes you are right, we can't see is it some project scam or legit before some time passes, many of them look great, and only after months we discover that it was a scam all along. I had a few misses, I thought I participate in legit bounties, but only when they needed to send tokens all investors and bounty participants found that we have been scammed, they just disappeared in one moment and we never heard about their team again.

Unfortunately 99% of hunters hardly read anything, they never have and they never will, all they are after is some stakes, they don't read any rules regarding bounty before and after, even if you try to warn them of a project being a possible scam, only few will read and stay back, majority won't read instead they will promote bounty till the end then they will cry of not getting paid.
It's like the project you're promoting, how can you trust that project and promote it? They are only taking advantage of the Covid-19 epidemic situation to create bullshit projects and steal investors' money.

So how exactly are the hunters helping the scammers when they themselves have no idea of the project they're promoting been a scamming ones, don't forget most project aren't that obvious with their scamming intention from the very beginning. We're too quick to blame the hunters be it when the project fails due to tokens getting dump or when they're unable to raise funds from crowdfunding and forgetting that bounty hunting is just one of the many ways this project advertise themselves.

Big platform like coinmarketcap and other platforms that can be used for advertising, providing this project with global publicity should be blamed more instead of the hunters that their advertising audience are restricted to some specific audience like their followers, topic viewers etc.

The investors should take the responsibility of researching on any project that pick their interest before they invest into it and stop blaming someone else for their uncalculated risks.

We have no way of knowing which projects might become scams in the future. If we knew them, they would probably be tagged and no one will participate. Do research very carefully before engaging in bounty at the present time
Right, if everyone could easily find out about the scam or not of a project, of course it would be very easy for everyone to make a step forward, the solution was to conduct research so as not to get caught up in the project scam immediately, even though it would also not be enough to know scam or not.

Or if you are in the middle of the campaign and you found out that the project is heading to be a scam, you can quit from their bounty program and you can also spread the word to others. Because most projects that are just starting are hard to be labeled as a scam because you have no proof of their shady activities yet.
