Yesterday player 30202 won 10% of the jackpot pool (1.6 BTC out of a 16 BTC pool), with a 0.01 BTC bet that rolled lucky number 94.7777. This is the first time someone has won the jackpot with a bet of less than 0.1 BTC! Congratulations!

Two days from now, a new bankroll distribution scheme will go into effect. Some notable changes:

  • We are getting rid of the referral rewards scheme. No longer will players receive payments based on the wagered amount of those below them in the player tree. Instead, each day's top bettors will receive a portion (0.7%) of the total daily wagered amount.
  • 0.3% of the daily wagered amount will be used to refill the jackpot.
  • 0.294% of the total daily wagered amount will be distributed to shareholders in the form of dividends.
  • 0.664% of the total daily wagered amount goes to refilling the bankroll

When we instituted these changes, we gave our shareholders the opportunity to sell back their shares to me at their IPO price of 0.01 BTC per share, in case they were not satisfied with the new bankroll distribution scheme. This means that we still have some number of shares which are available for purchase. If you would like to purchase shares, please email me at [email protected]

As one of our shareholders pointed out to me, the new investment scheme causes LD shares to drive their value from the size of the site's bankroll, rather than from their dividend payouts. Because of this, we will soon be listing LetsDice shares on a few bitcoin stock exchanges. Please stay tuned for more information on that.

Thank you all,
Martin

Like a lot of other dice sites, we've been having some issues with being DDoS'd. We've set up Cloudflare, and it's alleviated the problem for the most part, but the attack is ongoing. As of the time of this writing, the site is up and running. I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused!

In order to win the super-jackpot, one must roll the exact lucky number 77.7777.

In order to win the Super-Jackpot, one must roll the exact lucky number 55.5555:

 77.7777, 55.5555 or both Huh

Decided to make it 55.5555 so that 77.7777 doesn't win two jackpots. Updated the OP to reflect this.

We will still however be transparent and fair to the company and its investors by providing an honest evaluation and rating towards the company. We initiated the rating at a C-

I appreciate what you are aiming to do with your site, but I have some serious reservations about what exactly constitutes an "honest evaluation", considering that your review of Betcoin is pretty much pure marketing copy that finds no flaws with them, despite the fact that at this point it's pretty well known that they are fudging numbers, cheating their players, and behind the DDoS attacks on many other casino sites.

Meanwhile you give my site a C- because of the actions of one of my investors, which has nothing to do with me or my site.

And, some excerpts from your media kit that you send out to the operators of various bitcoin gambling sites:

Quote
When bitcoin gambling sites become a sponsored program at BCP they are making a bold statement to the entire industry that they are serious about earning the business of players around the globe.

Some of these methods very from outstanding customer service to simple things like honesty and quick payouts. No matter what your company’s current situation or rating is, it’s important to remember that a majority of guest will more than likely choose “them” over you based on ratings and our recommendations alone!

Becoming a sponsored program in the world’s newest form of gambling is the first step in building your programs brand and integrity within the industry!

You go on to say that for "only" 12 BTC per year, we would get the following:

Quote
The Official BCP Recommended List

Although we are unable to approve all premium sponsors on the main page as an Official BCP Recommended company if your reading this your company is more than likely approved for this particular section. There is a premium additional charge for such locations and is based on a full calendar year. (This premium Link can also be revoked if such company goes rogue or becomes untasteful to guest)

So, if I pony up and pay you 12 BTC, I get a glowing review and placed on the "official recommended list", but if I don't pay up I get an unfavorable rating? Has betcoin not gone rogue? They still have your A+ rating and are on your official recommended list.

I'm sorry, but your ratings cannot be trusted if you are willing to sell positive reviews and give poor reviews to those who don't pay you.

Very well said. Nothing better to show an opponent in battle than logic. Especially when they throw ad homs in return, cuz then you know you are the true better man. Applaud you sir. I will try your site. I hate shills...

Who would in their right mind expect a 'definite' profit from a gambling website ?

I mean yeah you could make money , but you could also lose money.

I have lost almost 2 bitcoins at just-dice , am I calling it cheat? No. So why sould people call every website a cheater if they lose.

doog just rolled back the database, and argued: "nothing lost", and then accused Nak a thief

I've never called him a thief.

I don't believe his incredible story but I'm hardly alone in that!

After I reaped all the JD's profit (to -300), you said, "as you were always cheating..." But it's you who fought back (after -5000) by changing rules, which I could call it cheating (but I still don't, since I understand why and how you did that).

"I don't believe it" is not a proof. On me, you just can't believe many things, constantly winning, for example (so that you fixed me). YES, you're not alone, you are among supporters in your chat room.

Something extremely fishy about this website. I'd go about it with caution. The way the investments were done screams ponzi, but we'll wait and see

what would you expect when the main owner is a known thief (nakowa stole 1300btc from JD)

Steal? He won, that's not a steal Shocked

He won a considerable amount, but he also stole 1.3k.

He had the balance on JD, JD manually transferred it out, but did not decrease his balance on the site. 'Someone else' then used his account to gamble the 1300 btc (he lost).

Him trying to bullshit his way out:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/people-who-hate-me-please-ignore-this-the-1300btc-event-on-just-dice-296366

That's obviously Doog's fault in the first place. If that happened in "real" casino, doog should pay to investors himeself! But doog just rolled back the database, and argued: "nothing lost", and then accused Nak a thief, nothing more ridiculous than this.

so if a clerk hands you back the wrong amount of change it's not stealing? The story is clearly BS.

We will still however be transparent and fair to the company and its investors by providing an honest evaluation and rating towards the company. We initiated the rating at a C-

Something extremely fishy about this website. I'd go about it with caution. The way the investments were done screams ponzi, but we'll wait and see

what would you expect when the main owner is a known thief (nakowa stole 1300btc from JD)

Steal? He won, that's not a steal Shocked

Combo breaker!

If you guys are actually reserving posts and not just messing with me, you could at least leave a pithy comment or something  Roll Eyes

Well if you need a comment or suggestion so soon I recommend you switch to a real forum provider like vbulletin. (from personal experience)

*For sale .2 1.7 BTC*

JD user ID 99999 for sale for .99BTC

Edit: I lost 1.3 and then another 1.1... As expected the top bar never adjusted to the loss. I filtered all bets less than .1 (which there was none) and some how the profit went down 5 BTC. Paying dividends when losing money .... Red flag red flag

Sept. 27th, 2013

After much deliberation, I've settled on a way to re-adjust the jackpot mechanics which I believe is fair and gives smaller players a better shot at winning. With the current minimum bet of 0.1 BTC to be eligible to win the jackpot, this favors whale bettors while leaving small time bettors hanging. At the same time, if the minimum eligible bet were too low, it would be too easy to make massive amounts of bets and win the jackpot, meaning the jackpot would never grow more than a few BTC in size.

The solution:

A bet of minimum 0.1 BTC, with lucky number xx.7777 will win 100% of the jackpot amount.
A bet of minimum 0.01 BTC, with lucky number xx.7777 will win 10% of the jackpot amount.
A bet of minimum 0.001 BTC, with lucky number xx.7777 will win 1% of the jackpot amount.

The jackpot currently sits at ~19 BTC. If someone were to win the jackpot while betting these minimums, regardless of how much they were betting they would still return 190x their bet amount.

I would also like to announce the creation of a 500 BTC Super-Jackpot (this is not funded by the site's bankroll, Nakowa has agreed to pay for this). In order to win the super-jackpot, one must roll the exact lucky number 55.5555. The super-jackpot will follow the same mechanics as the regular jackpot; that is, if Alice makes a bet of 0.001 BTC and rolls the lucky number 55.5555, she receives 1% of the super-jackpot, or 5 BTC.

edit: Changed the super-jackpot winning number from 77.7777 to 55.5555
