There will be one last fork before we leave it as it is for a few months.
The emission rate is way too fast. Because of that, the coin has some difficulties to gain value on the exchanges.
The emission rate will be brought back to what it was before.
This means that after the fork, a block reward will be 5 LTNCG instead of 50 LTNCG.
Then it should be mush easier to follow the market and create value, which will be the next #1 priority.
It was the original plan to make the reward 5 LTNCG when the Speed Fork occurred, but issues with Hive mining could not be resolved back then.
I have worked on that and now everything will scale perfectly.
Also in the next wallet :
- Fixed POW / Hive blocks ratio, taken from the LCC's devs team new Hive difficulty re-targeting algorithm.
I have personally contributed to identify the source of the ratio bug, and the ratio will be 50 : 50 , which means that bees lifespan will be brought back to what it was before I added 50 % to their life.
- Many tiny fixes like the Hive statistics, Hive graphic, and time evaluation which are wrong right now. ;-)
It is possible that bees that would have lived longer will suddenly expire when the fork will happen.
The fork won't happen before at least 5 days so it should give plenty of time for hive miners to adjust.
The fork is already programmed, it just needs to be uploaded to github.
Don't worry there will be no rush, I will keep the community informed when it will be available to download.
In the mean time, mine as much as you can while the reward is still 50 LTNCG per block !!
