This is what Im thinking too. Investing on top coins give lower profit while risking on altcoins give much profit if you get lucky of choosing the right coins.
I agree it's possible to be a millionaire from investing in altcoin but you need to have a lot of luck and maybe one day your coin will go up a lot. But it's very hard.
Actually, now I became a millionaire in my own local country currency in Philippines. Altcoins made me a millionaire that I couldn't even imagine to earn that amount of money through hard work.

Or better to buy from the top 100 ?
Better to invest in the new ico which gained a lot of interest and hype, that was absolutely make you become the new millionaire in the future, I've bought around 10k neo at previous year and then this time it worth almost $700k and i still has a lot of ethereum in my portfolio. it may better to invest in the promising project right now. My friends get a lot of return from the ico project just like power ledger and omise go. This time he is becoming a millionaire. Invest in the major altcoin will be more preferable. Or better to buy from the top 100 ?
Ya, there are always a chances but not with the single altcoin. U should invest in different kinds of altcoins if u seriously wants to become millionaire. There are hundreds of altcoins in market but u have to chose at least 10-20 good altcoins according to the performance of the there trading in the market. There future prospects and also companies future planing to promote coin.
I agree that Ripple and ETH would have been the best alt coins to bank our money in during early 2017. It's not too late to buy, but it's now a little bit risky.
Many new millionaires will show up through altcurrencies in 2018. I do believe it is possible. Not long ago Ripple or ETH were cheap as chips. If a project offers something new and can pull it off will be the next winner. Example Envion with mobile green mining farm infrastructure, SingulatyNET for Artificial General Intelligence agent for AI-s or Exscudo with its own DPoS EON blockchain ecosystem. Projects like this could make anybody rich easily.

In my opinion to find good and potential coin is learn about the detail purpose of the project. Learn about what thing they will make unique and different with others. To know and understand the fundamental of coin will help to find huge potential coin.
It's not that easy to make a million dollars from just a single Altcoin.The average trader would have to see at least 100x increase on their investment.

Do not have to invest in the top 100 famous coins! Can be very good money even on a new altcoine. The main thing in this to follow certain rules in order not to fall for the Scam. Carefully review drafts. Focus on those coins where the coin does not exist by itself, and is the currency for payment of goods or services. It is possible but if we knew which coins, be sure that their value would be high already. It is possible even with low investment but you will have to understand and know how to ride waves of pump and dump schemes which is a big difficult but I know some people who are flipping thousands of dollars worth in value. But these are all high risk investments that's why returns can be huge win or huge loss Or better to buy from the top 100 ?
Diversification is the secret of successful investors. Little capitalized coins are more likely to give you a 10X or 100X return, but to own some of the big ones gives you some solid ground. And they grow as well BTW.
sure there chance, buy top ten at coinmarketcap list. buy promising coin like eth xrp and verge. Or you can invest to interesting ICO project, just becarefull when choosing it

You find fortune for buying those coins that are undervalued if you have big capital to purchase hundreds of thousands of those low value coins and still have a young market cap. You can also depend to those coins that are on top 100, if you'll take a look on some coins there are low-price coins that you can take too. In summary, you can diversify on both boats by partitioning your capital. Or better to buy from the top 100 ?
