how about to create a debian repo so you can supply updates for minepeon?

When it warrants it I will.  I cannot make a new release every time that there is a miner upgrade in a piece of software that is in MinePeon, I would literally doing 2-3 releases a day if I did.



Never!  I am in the process of moving all of the relevant data there to the graphs page.

Just so I know though, what data there do you look at (I would not want to miss it).

                                Does the miner on minepeon have to restart ~every 10 hours or so . It might be a coincidence but the miner has just restarted when I login through putty after work or when I get up in the morning to check. Maybe its not getting enough power ? .

Are you going to do a upgrade to include cgminer 3.3.1 and "Stats" at upper black menu?

LOL, no worries I was not really worried, as I said those stats are highly unreliable and I only did them because I was board waiting on hold on the phone .

On another note, since I posted those stats it seems that EVERYONE in the US has turned off their donation so it seems that something is wrong at ozcoin or the Americans don't think MinePeon is work the $2 USD a day it was making .

Mine is configured for UTC+1... I know that I only hash @ 670MHash/s with my RPI, but why is it 0?

Brazil, Greenland, Uruguay, and a few tiny islands. There's also a UTC-2:30, not sure which category that would fall under in the stats.

No, I have no coordinates, what I was refering to was this line;-

All that really means is that someone has set their timezone to Atlantic time (UTC +2) or someone was setting up their rig at that moment and had not put their own pool address in (it mines using the donation address until you put your own pool in).

As I said, the data is actually fairly useless and does not really mean much.  There is no way I could identify anyone with it, I just did it for fun while on the phone.

While sitting on hold with my local shipping agent yesterday just for fun I setup a JSON feed from the MinePeon donation address.  Today (while sitting on hold with the same shipping agent) I have produced some interesting (read useless) stats;-

Some (incorrect) conclusions we can derive from this data;-

MinePeon is being donated the equivalent of nearly 3 Block Eruptor USB sticks making just over .02 BTC a day (Thanks guys and Gals).

There is someone mining in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Tasman Sea (on a boat perhaps?).

Europeans have under half the hashrate of Americans.

US East Coasters have over twice the hashpower of US West Coasters.

Despite what we have been lead to believe there is close to no mining going on at all in Asia.

The Australian hashrate is pitiful. (Typical Ozies, get off your asses and do something!)

New Zealanders have the largest hashrate in the World!!  (We are so cool)

Thanks for the donation time, I keep checking the ozcoin donation account via ozbot and haven't caught any active mining so far (but it's great knowing that there are those out there chipping in =).  As far as a "Versions" page, I am updating the wiki whenever possible (lol in between chemo, school, work and moving; but I expect the wiki to be fully revamped no later than the first week of July - which is a very conservative est. since I have until the end of the month to move out and my final assignment is due this Saturday aka that's half of what's holding me up out of the way) and will add this information to each release, it will be up to Neil if he wants to include this information in the distro though.

Edit: Clarification of why it seems like I'm dragging my feet (well because technically I am but not for long).

P.S. - Very nice Morblias, I hope you will post updated pictures and information somewhere on the forum as your build progresses.  I actually have a small shipment of LCD-TFT panels that I will convert to work natively with the Pi (the most obvious solution would be to create a LVDS adapter, although as this would require the top of the Pi to be exposed - and some people really like their cases - I might go the extra mile and have it use the HDMI or CVBS [RCA video] output; we'll see).

Well I do use a USB3.0 hub, but I'm using BFL equipment, not those Block Erupters.

Powers 5 erupters and the Pi itself, without any issues.

I used a 7 port Rosewill hub from Newegg, it uses NEC chips and works well.

I modified it to use a more powerful DC supply. All you need to do is cut the wire and splice it into a better PSU. Then short or upgrade the diodes that pass the power to the circuit inside the hub.
