LISK is dead. People got robbed after the ico so are dumping hard. Don't be left the bag hodler. Get out while you still can.
Please don't spread FUD, do you have any proof of LISK is being dead?

I wouldn't give it any attention. Quite alot of volume for being dead. Smiley

I think LISK will continue to go up for the next few weeks and crash like any other altcoin as soon as btc halvening effects kicks in.

But Lisk have a huge community, It can be a clear signal of that it is different.

On the coat-tails of Ethereum we are seeing the next shitcoin wave salted with "smart" contracts:
Lisk (= Crypti pig + lipstick), Expanse ("b'cause we can"),  Uther ("fair premine for the developers  copy cats") ...
Remember BTC -> LTC -> FTC?

Barring the good intentions of the devs of these projects, yes. Sad but true. Ethereum ICO has shown that there's a market for smart contracts that people could buy into. Now every other dev wants to join the bandwagon and make lots of money. I am not saying that's bad, but it's the reality and nature of things. Plus a little competition between platforms is always good.

If there is a market for a new idea then 1st mover coin delivering that idea takes it all.
Me too copy cats are always growing slower than 1st mover.
At best copy cat shitcoins are a winning proposition for their "developers".

Code:
sed -i 's/parent_coin_name/copy_cat_name/g' *

does not bring innovation. But at least funny things can happen when fast & dirty copy cats are at work:

you can’t change the GPL copyright, only for individual new files that you add to your repository.
In expanse-project/go-expanse@d368397 commit you basically changed all headers from
"go-ethereum" to "go-expanse"
and you've changed the AUTHORS file to go-expanse.
Not only is this not true, this is also highly unfair to those that have contributed their time to the go-ethereum project.
I ask you kindly that you revert all these changes.

If you’d like to claim copyright to individual changed files please mody the header such that you’re credited
and rightfully copyrighted to the right places using Portions (c) go-expanse
lol
But don’t remove the current copyright
I suspect you did a grep on ethereum and replaced it all with expanse and that you’re not even awara of these changes.
Considering that I have an expanse email address I’m unaware of

...

Christopher Franko @chrisfranko May 25 18:14
@obscuren oh crap! Im very sorry. Yes thats exactly what happened, ill fix that in a little while for you.
Because you are completely right it would be unfair. ^_^ Also if you want I can forward that email to your ethereum email

That's dirty and funny at the same time because they are claiming what's obviously not theres. Devs today.

dumped my lisk since it reach 0.0008 a week ago. maybe i just have to buy back when it goes $1. because i find the progress too slow. i used those btc to buy waves and was happy with it.
Lisk isn't making a move still, i don't know what goes wrong to their devs.

Yeah, Lisk has a huge community. A huge community of Kindergarden folks without a clue.
But who would love to buy Lambos and at the same time are too young
to have witnessed (and learned from) the 1st shitcoin wave.
BTW: if these folks had class & style they would be buying a Porsche or a Ferrari...

Each copy cat has been finally trading at a tiny fraction (~1/200) of the price
of its parent coin. Accordingly the grandchildren are finally trading at ~1/40000
of their parent's price.

Good luck and keep on dreaming for the appropriate car which starts burning faster than a parched barn  Grin

PS: And don't forget keeping back some Lisks for buying a hand full of fire extinguishers. lol

I think so too but it will not crash even if btc halvening takes effect.

Lisk seems to be stabilizing around 50 cents right now, Generally I wouldn't think it will move around much more since the currency is so new.

There could be some crazy fluctuations if the currency gets interest by some crazy whales.

Possible add to Chinese exchange seems to be nice momentum for Lisk, and Dapp competition.   Max Kordek  best of good luck.

You know things are not going well when you need to make posts like this.
Absolutely this is complete scam shitcoinage only designed to make the devs rich.
And that's the purpose of all the coins, to make their creators rich.  Yep.  Doesn't mean something good can't come out of a new coin, but most of these shitcoins are just that--shit.  I have no idea what Lisk is about, or ETH, or Waves, or any of these other coins.  They're just things to buy and sell with markets that go up and down, and sometimes severely.  They are things to speculate with.

I think Pharm boy is on to something.

Take the phrase "complete scam crapcoinage only designed to make the devs rich." Variations of this phrase get mindlessly sprayed around a lot in the altcoin and other forums. I don't think the users have really parsed the implications of this statement. How are devs wanting to get rich any different than people in general wanting to get rich? Google devs got rich, FB devs got rich. etc etc. How is the utility of facebook profoundly more important than say Lisk or Doge coin or Xyz coin? Some of the early devs of IBM PC software got rich. Remember the dBase 2, Visicalc and Lotus123? Altcoin devs are supposed to form a monastic order to develop alt coins? If people with sloped foreheads like Trump can get rich, why not software devs?

This commonly made phrase also implies that BTC is conferred with some untouchable early mover advantage that shall not be challenged. How does anybody really know if BTC is going to be cryto's Visicalc? Visicalc for it's time was a widely used only to be superseded by MS excel.

Ultimately altcoins if they resemble anything, they resemble stock market IPO's, where people based on imperfect knowledge make investment decisions on information which sometimes is marketing hype. IPO's can really be a scam in the sense that VC's and insiders who got their stock for $1 - $5 a share unload to the retail investors/institutional investors for a huge markup (Google I'm looking at you!)

In a sense I think the altcoin scene should be celebrated and encouraged because it's one of the few opportunities where the average schlub for low dollars can have the inside track for pennies just like VC's Just like VC's they will have the freedom to swing and miss.

The altcoin scene is just another pocket of wild west capitalism.

Conversely, what is the utility of these foaming at the mouth, mentally narrow enforcers of cryptocoin purity with too much time on their hands?

My only regret is selling about 35% from the ICO at 72k. Only Bitcointalk where 3x profit in a few months is regret. Smiley

Which Chinese exchanges are planning to add Lisk to their platform? Is Max planning to bring Lisk on Chinese platforms? It is the first time I read about it. Could you provide some more details or resources for more information, please.

yeah, i don't know about that either.

these Chinese exchangers ususally add new coins to their website when there is bigger volume involved and get in when the market is a little older.
