I just got my email that I need to validate my passphrase. And I read the blogpost regarding the delay. I think, the decision for delay is right. Thumbs up.

LISK was just delayed Angry

Not sure how that's going to change things, but I'll have to guess that it will. More time to test things....

I'm upset too.
At least I will have time to increase my member level and put a big Lisk signature.  Cool

Can we mine this LISK in the future? Or is it all IPO?

virtual miners 110 i think only...you have to get 'votes' from other lisk owners to be a miner...I know the guy in the #1 spot

thus I don't think I could contibute enough to be considered ..thus did not try...(my 1 btc into lisk not withstanding)

but virtual nodes in the above 'sorta' framework is how they have it set up...advocates well they advocate and provide help and tech support

and keep the framework going with virtual mining.....if they don't they eventually get voted out of the top 110 or so advocates and some one

else moves up

no idea if this is 'fixed' or they are going to expand the base

imho...either lisk or ethereum should have imho offered it up as sha-256 from pow to pos coin..the hype/cheerleading etc for the mad rush to mine this

would be epic for press/etc.... difficulty would not matter if it skyrocketed in that it was gonna go pos  coin anyway (both of them)

but man .......talk about 'exposure in the press to the masses!!!"

whatever I have 1 btc in this which FYI is equiv to 6517 lisk with when i got in at the 10% bonus..i.f you want to keep track

thus the $1 buck lisk crowd on here I hope they are correct Smiley

again the above is what I THINK is going on with this...I just put in 1 BTC because of my buddy and what I could kinda understand from this ico

Ok, I was playing devil's advocate there. I don't believe it will be under 2x ICO price. But I am not one of the "day 1 = 1$!" guys either. I think around 5x ICO in the first week (maybe with one or two spikes up to 10x) would be a huge success. After that – who knows.

As long as interesting DAPPs are being developed and the Lisk ecosystem evolves, I see no reason for dumping.

It has a huge number of participants, good momentum, so imo its huge success will depend on the DAPPs list.

There is no reason for someone to sell cheaper than the ICO. I mean why should he sell below ICO, when he got into all the trouble for participating in the ICO (though I have to admit LISKs ICO was very simple and well organized)?

1. because they got bonusses, turning selling at ICO price or a little below into a small profit
2. because they need money fast
3. because there is a new project coming along that looks interesting and they don't want to miss it

well

1. I guess they should expect profits from bonuses too, that's why they will gladly wait for higher bids
2. I agree - when it comes to an urgent need - but how many will experience such a need simultaneously at launch?
3. That assumption has the prerequisite that they do not have any other funds left at all.

No one will sell below ICO price because a shitty bonus

loooooots of small stacks

You don't understand, there will be no buying wall below even 2x the ICO offer, people are already buying > 2.5x the ICO offer, almost everybody is willing to sell above 150k, how you think the price can be under 18k. Nobody is so stupid.

Can everyone start being just a bit more realistic in terms of starting prices?
Don't underestimate the number of people in crypto who will sell for a slight loss if they think it will dump more. We're not guaranteed even 10 cents to start with.

Why do you think there is no guarantee of even 10 cents?

There are reports of people buying at more than 2.5x the ICO offer, like this:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14368615

I am posting this again, because my last post got hijacked.

WTS up to 50k Lisk @ .001 btc.  Escrow only. PM me. Serious inquiries only.

Safe escrow is not possible for Lisk right now. A seller could reset the keys after contacting support.

He is not selling his ICO account.
He is just closing a price. Once he get his lisk he Will send the lisk to the escrow. He explained few posts ago...

Edit: No reason to call him scammer,  thief or fucking retarded

agreed . i totally dig this deal myself actually., as my personal plan involves buying up to 100k and holding for a year or so.
for me it means i dont have to give my fees to that scam exchange c-cex on launch when i still wanna buy Wink
it also hedges against if the price sky rockets, if i were to cut a deal at 100k im sure wind would honor it even if it hit 0.01 on launch! Wink
so use your heads people, this is a good deal for someone in the position to use it

And when people say that is possible in the first weeks that 1 Lisk = 1 $, it's not a joke.
Almost everybody is willing to hold until a good price because we trust in the project and the team.
