Payward's Kraken supports trading of XBT (bitcoin), XLTLTC (litecoin), XVN (Ven), USD, and EUR.

Apparently kraken is not available for users from certain jurisdictions (Germany in my case).
Which is a pity, IMO - they have quite advanced security mechanisms in place.

Also, this list would be much more useful if you included *some* info on the exchanges.

Maybe need a list of coins with the preferred exchange, possibly based on volume traded?

Some one should use API available at exchanges, to make a public service, ranking exchanges, on basis of daily volumes of all alt-coins traded.

i am doing this already here: http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/markets/graphicalComparison

Can you tell me what XLT is?

Doh!   That's me not checking my work!

The ISO currency naming uses an X prefix for currencies that do not have a government issuer.  Thus gold (Au), is XAU.   It has been proposed to that ISO group to use XBT for Bitcoin.    I thought I had seen XLT at Kraken but I hadn't.   They are (properly) using LTC as the symbol yet.

Please list more exchanges and If possible make this thread sticky,it would be helpful for new users.

To be clear, these that you've listed are exchanges which support trading of alt-currencies.  The list of exchanges where Bitcoin is traded varies significantly:

They need passports and other docs. Good luck if you like this. Other exchanges don't need anything like crypto-trade, btc-e and cryptsy.
Email verification is sufficient as long as you don't exceed certain withdrawal limits:

Quote
Daily Withdrawal Limit ( USD ) - $1,000

Monthly Withdrawal Limit ( USD ) - $3,000

Daily Withdrawal Limit ( BTC ) - 10

Monthly Withdrawal Limit ( BTC ) - 50

Daily Withdrawal Limit ( Alt Coins ) - 1,000

Monthly Withdrawal Limit ( Alt Coins ) - 10,000

Nice glad to see you made a thread to come off being a nice person and then threw in your referral links for your own self-good.

Good Luck on the sticky Mr. Nice.

Was waiting for someone to correct me. Removed referral links  Smiley

I wouldn't include Coins-E

It's just a shell of an exchange running on autopilot without anybody that knows what they're doing.  They have had issues with multiple coins being on old blockchains and apparently have no clue how to update a client.

I personally lost 9980 PXC when trying to transfer out  Angry
