So, ibig sabihin, pag hindi ka matalino (scholar or top of the class level) ... well, parang scholarship lang ang binibigay, hindi pang lahat. There is no equality. Either matalino ka o mahirap ka. Or both.
Actually Sir Dabs, it only covers the "tuition fee" .. Therefore, yung miscellaneous and kung ano pang dagdag, di pa niyan cover... Kung working student, tiyak mahihirapan...
Much better na mag take na lang ng DOST scholarship, free lahat, yup, free lahat, entrance fee, book allowance, transpo allowance, uniform, boarding house, name it and they will put it in your stipend, if you can have both, buhay mayamang studyante ka...
All that are on the list are SUCs... Meaning tulad ng sinabi mo, kailangan isa ka sa pinaka matalino sa school niyo, and usually sa mga state universities, may entrance exam, madugong entrance test muna mangyayari bago ka maka pasok samantalang yung mga rich kids, isang pakiusap lang ni kumpadre, pasok na...
Aside from that scholarship, CHED is offering a free scholarship too, where you don't have to take that nose bleeding entrance exams. Local governments too are offering scholarships like "study now pay later"..DSWD is also giving student assistance (pahabaan nga lang sa pila yan)and some NGOs also are offering free scholarship tulad nung mga partylist,... Not to mention the TESDA...
With that, tama yun, kung matalino ang studyante, better go to PMA or DOST para talagang libre and if average, go to CHED, and other organization...
