That list has not been updated since 2020, and I do not have time to update it. If there is someone who has time and can continue to update it, I will support him. I will lock this topic within 48 hours.
I have interest to know more about the lightning network wallets recently and it will be my pleasure to begin new thread about it and be updating it.
Based on this, I will lock this topic and will redirected it when you create a new topic link.
You can contact @dkbit98 or @DaveF as I see they are more active here and I'm sure the community will help.
@1miau may help you create attractive tables.

Good luck.

This is a very good thread for people that are interested in lightning network but I think it needs to be edited.

The first is that Bluewallet is no more a custodial lightning network wallet, you have to connect to your LNDHub which now makes it noncustodial.

I was unable to see Zap, Eclair Mobile, Peach Wallet and shockwallet on Android PlayStore. You can check it yourself to know if I am correct or not. I am not an iPhone user to check the ones you mentioned for iOS.

There are some other ones that are existing now. Example is this common one called Wallet of Satoshi. I am surprised that I did not see it on the list. But it is possible that it has not been created in 2020 when you started this thread.

Phoenix Wallet has also been around for a few years for the iOS version and can be downloaded here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phoenix-wallet/id1544097028

But as additional information, a few days ago Phoenix Wallet account on X media announced it will remove Phoenix Wallet apps from the US app stores on May 3rd, 2024
(https://twitter.com/PhoenixWallet/status/1783878658014249027).

I also just noticed that Electrum is not among the wallet mentioned. Electrum can be used for lightning payment. It is noncustodial.

If Muun is considered a lightning wallet then Aqua and Marina are also lightning wallets. They are all using swaps to make lightning payments but the difference is Muun uses on-chain BTC while the others use Liquid BTC.
Liquid network is different from lightning network. If there is no channel created by individual or the people that are providing the wallet service, that means it is not a lightning network.

Blixt and Mutiny wallets are also good lightning wallets. Alby is a custodial wallet but it can be useful if you want to receive tips or donations while you are offline.

Also in the not 100% a wallet but you can use it to control your own lightning node and send & request payments Thunderhub: https://thunderhub.io/

Did a quick install and it seems to work well. Can't comment on security or anything else but it you are running your own node it's another option.

Anyone knows what Lightning wallet is most easy to use for most people?
Let's say some LN newbie want to install and use it fast and easy
Today I saw joule extension but I never used it so far.
Wallet must be used in browser or desktop, and not for mobile.

Do you want to run your own node or have it be a custodial wallet?
I mentioned it above but if you are running your own node you can install Ride-The-Lightning on it and connect via the web.
If you want you can also open firewall ports and connect to it from the outside world instead of just the local network where it's hosted.

There is also electrum:

Not to hijack this thread but I just had a thought. Would people be interested at Lightning as a service?
Though some other posts I have made and testing I have done you can see that it's somewhat simple to spin up some devices that allow you to run a dedicated lightning node.
Would anyone think there would be a market in hosting this for people?

I don't, since you would wind up paying someone to host something you can do yourself to use your own BTC but you never know.
The ones I have tested raspiblitz and mynodebtc both seem to be very stable [unless like me you spend hours tinkering with them to see what you can do]

Just a random thought while drinking coffee. You could run your own open source wallet, and connect to your own open source node, juts that the node would not be in your house.

I wish there is a version for Desktop.

You can use Joul extension for that. It's the only (custodial) option you have. Or, if you insist on using Bluewallet, you can do it using Bluestacks (or any other android emulator).

Review about Blue Wallet:
I have tried using BlueWallet few times to make a fast swap of small amounts (less than 10$) . To be honest, it was my first time using Lightening Network, and i can say that Blue Wallet wasn't that friendly use even am a well experienced user, especially the wallet gives the ability to create more than one wallet and user can't start using it without a good knowledge background about how to open/close channels and how to pay invoices. Note that Blue Wallet can also be used like any other btc wallet but i can't find where to get access to the seed or pk.

Bluewallet is a custodial wallet, you don't need to be familiar with how channels work. Just head to your LN wallet > Manage funds > Refill and choose the BTC wallet you want to load LN funds from.

As for the seed, you can get it by going to the Meatballs menu > Export/Backup.
Thank you Omega. Maybe you are right about that i don't have to be familiar with bluewallet to use it, but i still think of those who would try it for the first time and who used to deal with channels in LN. Although, bluewallet broadcasted oer 100,000 LN transactions according to reviews.
I wish there is a version for Desktop.

Since it's about Open-source Lightning wallets, it'd be great if there's column which shows URL repository the source code.

Good suggestion. @hugeblack I did it on your behalf, if you want to update the OP:

Just because it does not get a lot of love for some reason, for those of us who are running our own nodes Ride-The-Lightning is a very nice web interface.
It allows you to manage your node and create / pay invoices.
Not 100% sure if it is a "wallet" but I always try to mention it when people ask.

You can add Eclair mobile (Android only). I see that you already listed it as LNWallet, maybe you should rename it.

Also, Zap is available for Linux and MacOS and not just Windows.
