This is a great price for litecoin! Who could have known just a few months ago!
A few months ago it was less than 10 cents when bitcoin was ~10 dollars.
Then after bitcoin shot up to over 20 dollars, litecoin just sat there under 10 cents for a few more weeks, waiting patiently, wondering if anyone would predict the impending flow-on effects from BTC.
There was definitely quite a long (in cryptocurrency terms) window of opportunity between those 2 events.
Well I'm glad you could profit off it! I didn't see it coming. But it has made me value all the altcoins now because you never know which one will hit it big.

My dad did the same thing. He sold 4449 LTC two days before it went up like crazy. I feel bad for him. Now he is buying into PPCoin for the same hopes. I hope it works out for him...

No, the growth in alt coins will probably outpace bitcoin growth. It's like buying blue chip stocks.
