The opposite I think- the hashrate is going up again, and the price too. Once again- the rumors of LTC's death have been greatly exaggerated. :-)

Also, in 6 days AVALON starts shipping ASIC's. (http://www.avalon-asics.com/)

So this is probably your last chance to buy/mine LTC. :-)

well if someones dumping a lot (dumbly) they either choose to sell for usd or btc. and the btc buy orders were thicker, they would have collapsed the usd orders much further and made less $

if they were smart they would have used both and done a slower dump, but who knows for what reason they do it

and why avalon planning to ship during the weekend?!

Pull and all nighter in boxing them up?

The btc/ltc rate was under 0.004 a few minutes ago while the usd/btc rate has no real changes. What's the reason for this ltc value decrease? Another dump by miners?

Next Difficulty is down to 23, why  Huh
Isn't mining LTC more profitable than BTC?

From 0.072 to 0.067? Sure this is the end Grin
Litecoin already survived a crash from 0.07 to 0.01.

I am sick of these bullshit threads every time the ltc prices drops a bit.

If you think that's bad, there are people out there who actually think Gold is a bubble LOL Tongue

back up, strong trend to 0.005 price mark lately

Last Price: 0.00493 BTC
Low: 0.0043 BTC
High: 0.0051 BTC
Volume: 280724 LTC / 1327 BTC

high volume. thats almost $20,000

Looking at BTC-e, a lot of the buy orders are shills. I can crash it down to 0.47 right now.. :/

smoothie could probably have it to 0.0042

yeah i think obviously it'll go back up. maybe 0.006 in <2 months

If you pay attention clearly I am not selling. Litecoin has much potential. But any one who wants to sell cheap. Please do. I could use a bit more cheap LTC.

Over the past six months, the LTC price has been far more stable than the BTC price.
You forgot the volume of LTC market. With current market volume one or two investors have ability to stabilize the price.

Over the past six months, the LTC price has been far more stable than the BTC price.  Maybe Bit Pay should add an LTC option for merchants.   Wink

High volume shows that litecoin is still a useful currency that people wish to buy and sell. I get more concerned when the price isn't changing.

You can still sell your LTC to members of the Litecoin cult before it ends up at 0.003BTC per LTC again.

Bitcoin is so high it is crushing all the altcoins. Perhaps we can trim off some of the altcoins.
