Not many people are using the LTC. It is controlled by very few chinese miners. It is a Chinese coin at the moment.

I've found MANY, MANY, MANY bugs in the ltc protocol actually. That aside, I'm a big fan of the litcoin project. No fancy bells and whistles.
The eth folk really burned themselves trying to be fancy with all of that turing complete nonsense. Sure, they've made millions from presales and millions more from dumping on trex and pol... overall, just a fancy promo campaign
