LTC bagholders always amuse me. Remind me again why do we need LTC?
Like it or not Bitcoin is heading down the route of high fee, low volume, small block, off-chain scaling settlement layer, litecoin on the other hand is shooting for low fee, high volume, adaptive block, on-chain scaling payment system.
Even if Bitcoin and litecoin were identical the two are heading down completely seperate distinct paths, also Bitcoin core has pretty much laid to rest and hammered the coffin shut for good on the idea of "one coin (one dev team) to rule them all"
A note on price - the majority simply will not consider investing one single cent on litecoin at $5.00, but will be eager buyers at $30-50.
Mick! How you doing man
.
As I have said on other occasions It is as simple as saying, If BTC goes up LTC does the same sooner or later, Of course not as before because there is more competition in the path. If you ask me when it will go up in value a digit ,I dont have the answer, But that surely will happen it will happen. Now a digit more,
Is to name sleeping giant reason ? The key is How many LTC you hold.
One of the most insightful posts here.
Nobody even cared to fix the litecointalk forum yet.
In all fairness, the Litecoin Association works with very little money and manages to get by mostly on volunteers. Unlike the Bitcoin Foundation which has managed to waste millions of dollars for nothing. We manage multiple websites and community resources, as well as protecting community interests such as the trademark battle we have been locked in for a half a year now (our lawyers are also pro bono).
A point on the trademark, we are also setting a president worldwide for cryptocurrency trademarks. So we do what we can. But if it will satisfy your curiosity when we release the road map (in 2 weeks lol), there will be a statement about the forums and path forward with the forums.
