I was going to toy with some ideas, but i realized that you nailed it in your first post, OP. I think that design is spot on. Great job.

The L and t would make sense as in LTC
I'm not liking those diagonal bands. Makes the logo look clown-like.
I can post those later this evening, Coblee can let me know if an adjustment is in order , whether the L with a line (see below) is of use, if it looks to many like a "t" it wouldn't be ideal.

Great to see this logo being revisited. Personally I think the L looks a little bit too much like a t.
Fantastic work. Can you provide an SVG of the monochrome version? And perhaps a 16x16 favicon size?
The one in the OP looks much better than the current logo.

I was considering whether the current litecoin logo could be tweaked to bring a little synergy between Ltc and btc, if indeed litecoin is silver to bitcoins gold. I thought the logo especially small scale does suffer from a slight smudged look. I'm not totally up to speed with what form the L should take or what current font is used for the Litecoin text. Any thoughts.
