Hello msy2008,

TreasureQuarry's Infinitecoin pool is currently unavailable - people stopped using it quite some time ago when the Infinitecoin network's block rewards dropped, so I stopped the Infinitecoin pool from running without users to conserve server resources for use on the other pools like Litecoin and Dash.  If there was enough interest I could possibly consider getting the Infinitecoin back up and running in the future.

HI TreasureSeeker

I need IFC mine pool information. I need help. I want to use L3+ to protect IFC.

If you can read IFC topics carefully, I think you should know me.

Sorry for the delay in replying, nl3ehv.nl.  Where are you seeing the "lost contact" message?  The Litecoin p2pool is fully alive at TreasureQuarry.

The "Stratum requested work restart" messages are normal.  P2Pool has its own sharechain and awards a share every 15 seconds to someone in the Litecoin p2pool network which TreasureQuarry is a part of.  As a result you'll see a lot of these restart messages.

Being realistic, with the hashrate you've mentioned you're unlikely to manage to solve any shares. It's best to look into getting a Scrypt ASIC miner for Litecoin mining these days.

Is TreasureQuarry out of service?

Oke, insted off (yay!!!) i now see:

[2018-02-23 10:28:05] Stratum requested work restart
[2018-02-23 10:28:05] thread 1: 41520 hashes, 6.18 khash/s
[2018-02-23 10:28:05] thread 0: 57432 hashes, 4.51 khash/s
[2018-02-23 10:28:05] thread 2: 13476 hashes, 1.35 khash/s
[2018-02-23 10:28:09] thread 3: 19956 hashes, 1.13 khash/s
[2018-02-23 10:28:10] Stratum requested work restart

Does this mean it is not working or waiting for something, my CPU is still 100%.

You need to find a real share (as oppposed to a pseudo share which your miner may report) to get listed in the "Expected Payout if Block Found Now" list.  The Litecoin p2pool global share difficulty is quite high, being approximately 33.4 as I write  this, so it may take some time indeed just to get a single share, depending on your hashrate.

However, the Infinitecoin p2pool share difficulty is much lower, being 0.00154 at the moment, so it's much easier to get a share.

So, I joined the Litecoin pool and my address was not listed among "Expected Payout if Block Found Now." Why is this, as when I joined the Infinitecoin pool I started being visible and getting small fractions of coins right away? The pool showed that its rate went way up, but my address was not listed among those receiving a reward.

The pool has been updated to the latest litecoind, version 10.2.2, and also the the latest p2pool.  Happy mining!

The pool has moved to a new server in France, giving blazingly fast connection to Europe and still good for the rest of the world too.

Happy mining!

The pool has moved to a new server in USA's East Coast tonight.  Please could miners briefly stop and restart your miner which should then pick up the new dns settings and enable you to start mining on the new server.  I'll be keeping the old server running for a day or two to allow miners time to switch over.  P2Pool will still credit you for any shares you find on the old server until it's closed down in a few days time.

Happy mining!

I've set up a cronjob which will restart the Litecoin daemon within a minute if it crashes again. This is following a crash again of the Litecoind daemon tonight...sorry for the short downtime.  It's back up and running again now and the cronjob should stop any further problems.

Sorry for the short downtime everyone.  The Litecoin daemon crashed for the first time since the pool started.  Back up and running nicely again now.

Come dig out some Litecoins from the TreasureQuarry!

TreasureQuarry's new Litecoin pool has just been launched.  The server is based in the France in Europe.

It's quick and east to start mining at TreasureQuarry's Litecoin pool. There's no need to "sign up".  Just use the following settings for your miner:

Mining address (url) (remember to include the port number after the colon)
http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327

Username:
A unique address from your Litecoin wallet on your computer, for example my  mining address that I use on this pool is LRiuMEPNFojdY8HX9iZB3QYWGHqcgAWAj6 (don't use this particular address otherwise your earnings will go to me). Please do not use an exchange address or online wallet address.

Password
Anything you like - this is unimportant with P2Pool

Therefore, using with pooler's cpu miner (source code available from https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer), as an example, use:

minerd -o http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327 -u YOURLITECOINADDRESSHERE -p x

Choosing your psuedo-share difficulty

To get a good representation of your hashrate on the pool's graphs, and also to possibly reduce your DOA rate, adding the following to the end of your Litecoin address (including the + sign) is likely to  help. Just find your nearest hashrate from the table below:

Hash Rate
(KHash/s)   Difficulty
5        +0.00000582
10      +0.00001164
50      +0.00005821
100     +0.00011641
250     +0.00029103
500     +0.00058207
750     +0.00087310
1000    +0.00116414
2000    +0.00232828
4000    +0.00465656
8000    +0.00931312

For example if you 're mining at  1000 KHash/s, use:

minerd -o http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327 -u YOURLITECOINADDRESSHERE+0.00116414 -p x

This will make your miner report when it finds "pseudo-shares" of a certain difficulty (you'll still need to find real shares for payments to start).  Once you do find a true share, payments will start going straight to your wallet as soon as the p2pool finds blocks.   Due to the way p2pool's PPLNS (pay per last N shares) works, the payments may seem to start slow but will then build up to reach a peak and reasonably steady rate.

You can view statistics at http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327/static/ , and graphs at http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327/static/graphs.html . Your own graph will show on the graphs page under the heading of your Litecoin address.

TreasureQuarry's reliable server is located in Dallas in the USA.

Pool fee is just 1% which you can confirm at any time at  http://litecoin.treasurequarry.com:9327/fee

Happy mining. Smiley
