Don't even buy ETH buy BTC or another shitcoin, go and buy monero lol. I don't even want to hold the same coin as you people are holding.   To any litecoin owners DONT BUY ETH. You're poisonous little short-sighted piggies who don't belong in crypto.

Time to get out of litecoin before it's too late.

Anyone with half a brain can see it's about to be dumped like a sack of shit.  Don't be left carrying the bag when chinese investors get wind of what happened to litecoin.

There is literally no reason for litecoin to exist in this day and age.  I hated litecoin when it first came out.  It was the coin that started the shitcoin wave that held crypto back by 10 years.   I'll be glad when anyone who "invested" in that little stinker loses all their money.   Karma bitches.

LTC will rebound on ETH

but ETH hit a high note that means it is solid $100M evalue ... might take a year to reclaim but it has arrived ... LTC still looks solid around $150M

Ethereum, like other altcoins that were supposedly going to defeat Litecoin, is just a temporary scheme, pump and dump coin. It's due to mass-advertising that the price went up. Furthermore, 99% of Ether is traded on exchanges that don't even matter (very small in the crypto space, Poloniex or something accounts for like 70% of Ether trades. Never heard of this exchange before).

Litecoin is the only solid cryptocurrency next to Bitcoin. Deny it all you want. Crypto is a risky investment as it is, but of all the risky cryptocurrencies out there, BTC & LTC are the only 2 solid choices. Both have been there for a long time, both are traded and used on a large number of international exchanges. Other coins not so much.

Ether is going to dump. Get out while you can. If you can. I doubt there is much liquidity. It is, after all, a pump and dump scheme.

LTC always follows BTC, so if you know when will BTC rise you can predict LTC rise.
But i don't think LTC have any real power to do something without BTC.

In the last couple of months (I could say) year this is no longer true. LTC seems to split from BTC and went on a long downtrend. I think it's slowly losing it's "second to bitcoin" status. If we will have a big BTC hype and bubble in this year, that can take LTC to new heights with itself, together with everything else.

Not to mention ETH is on the rise. LTC must create its own fanbase not dependent to btc to avoid the predictability of its market move. Profit takers will surely love it if LTC will always move right after btc but I don't see such market movements happening most of the time so I guess they're not entirely dependent on BTC.

but ETH rise is 98% pump plus massive advertising which can't go on forever. IMO this uprising is going to stop soon.

and LTC is both dependent and not dependent on bitcoin market.
it is dependent because it usually moves due to bitcoin price movement because investors are either pulling out to buy more BTC or selling BTC to save losses and buy LTC.
but at the same time it is being pumped individually, like the last pre halving pump.

Pursuer's pretty much on the money with the above.

I do not know much about markets and all the tech behind the coins, but I have always seen that Litecoin goes up and down following the trend of Bitcon more or less. So if the halving makes BTC go up, it will likely make LTC up too IMO.

Unfortunately, as LTC have little real world economy that fan base are mostly speculators Smiley

same is true for all cryptos including bitcoin (tbh old fashion shells are still doing better in that league). though i'd argue tis more the greater fool theory then speculation.

litecoin i think is the best of a bad bunch, i think real world it has more potential then bitcoin, btc it nerds and fanbois wouldn't hear that, but real worlds a different story.

LTC already has it's own fanbase. Unfortunately, as LTC have little real world economy that fan base are mostly speculators Smiley. Independence from BTC is something very difficult to achieve, as it's the base currency in the crypto scene. ETH isn't that significant in this time. It's still in beta and still pretty much a speculative vehicle with no actual real world applications. I know lots of banks and corporations are interested, but still not sure in what they are really interested. In the coin itself or only in grabbing some new technology?

you actually believe ltc price going down while btc is rising?

The price difference will be larger in the future if we cannot find some real world application for litecoin.

It's been a while now. So maybe a new pump will come.
But after the bitcoin pump, maybe it will be delayed.

There will be no dump for Litecoin. We had a pump for Litecoin when it went to 0.033. Litecoin will continue to drop while Bitcoin starts to rise.

Litecoin will soon rise when bitcoin rise. They're always valuable.  bought few litecoin weeks ago for i believe they're going up sooner.

the halving for bitcoin will likely increase all altcoin price especially the big altcoin, like litecoin

There is a small pump of litecoin to 0.011. Do not know if the price rise is sustainable or not.

because bitcoin is increasing again by few $, +20 on the market

The halving of bitcoin block reward will increase the bitcoin price. It will reduce the altcoin price relative to bitcoin.

Not just their relative, but their absolute price too, via the dollar. As bitcoin will gain value relative to the dollar, the altcoins will lose.

With the exception of a few altcoins that are smaller like BURST.
