If we look towards the development of a very appropriate potential so everyone's expectation is present to a large extent by the positive.

Litecoin has been experiencing a strong surge of late and some analysts believe this could be setting Bitcoin up for an eventual recovery.
To learn more read here: https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/litecoin-surge-boost-bitcoin/

It think the surge of LTC is not related to BTC and its the other way around. Or if there is a correlation between the two then it might be just small range in price that will be evident.

I personally think the reverse should be the case because the last I checked, litecoin is just a fork of bitcoin with less features because bitcoin already has what litecoin have and people will always choose to make use of bitcoin instead of litecoins for their transaction because of the trust bitcoin have already built for itself, this is the main reason why I don't think the growth in litecoin will affect the growth in bitcoin but I know that the growth in bitcoin will definitely affect the growth in litecoin because it is part of the first coins in existence.

After waves, I do see litecoin is the second coin which made its recovery last month and there will be a scheduled halving for it to be happening this year which may be another reason why litecoin is surging.

Coming Litecoin halving should help Litecoin outperform bitcoin. In any case, it track and outperforms bitcoin usually just because of its low marketcap.

in a market you can never call a "pump" as "outperforming". a pump is just a pump and the LTC halving has always been a pump in the past and this time it is not going to be any different either. we will surely see a big price rise when the Chinese mostly pump it to the moon and like always they also dump it suddenly and dump it hard.

Litecoin does have a good development, this shows a movement that continues to improve, the possibility will continue to increase and a great opportunity to remain a popular coin. The team is quite swift in overcoming every market movement so that it can give confidence to the community.

But the correlation of boosting Bitcoin because of a small price movement doesn't determine that Bitcoin could boost. Since Litecoin is just an altcoin that doesn't have the power to make Bitcoin to boost so does Ethereum too and other altcoins. It might gain some huge adoption of most traders but it will never gonna boost the Bitcoin.
litecoin doesn't give any impact to the bitcoin but bitcoin does it to the litecoin. bitcoin never gets dominated by altcoin and even ethereum can't give a huge impact to the bitcoin. Litecoin definitely don't give any impact to the bitcoin

Although Litecoin does not have an impact on bitcoin at least many investors still hold on to bitcoin. This Litecoin is an altcoin that is likely to be a stepping stone for investors to be able to own bitcoin.

The increase in Bitcoin is not from the increase in demand from altcoins, the increase in Bitcoin is due to a lot of market demand for Btc. Indeed, it can be admitted that altcoin requests have a little effect on increasing Bitcoin, but that is only a few percent. The fact that it happened was the opposite, namely increasing Bitcoin will have a positive impact on the altcoin.

Litecoin's about to halve so everyone who understands what will be the effect of it will start to panic buy. Yes, people will keep on buying before that day of halving on August. We are few months away from it and that's why everyone rushes to have his own Litecoin.

To follow the schedule and time of the halving see the countdown:

https://www.litecoinblockhalf.com/

I also saw an article that tackles about this surge and boost.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/03/24/litecoin-boom-past-60-could-set-bitcoin-btc-up-for-a-surge/
Yes, this is why litecoin is also moving on a great price in the past days and if the halving succeed for LTC, for sure the same thing can happen to bitcoin so its true thay LTC can help the BTC to pump higher again. The next halving as expected the price booster, so panic buyers are now coming in let’s hope for the best for both LTC and BTC.
Halving will definitely going to succeed for Litecoin. We have seen it before for bitcoin and on how it became a very reliable event for a crypto to see such moves for the pricing.

I'm thinking on how it will affect the price of bitcoin once the halving's done. Will the people sell their litecoins at good price and buy back bitcoin? A lot of things plays on my mind on what will be the positive effect of this upcoming halving.

Litecoin and bitcoin are paired together so a pump for ltc could indeed lift bitcoin. That in turn will lift the rest of the coins so the effect is that litecoin is helping the entire crypto market

Indeed in the time of halving too. I can say if you wish to invest on these coins it is really best options for investors who can go for long term or short investments. I know currently market is really not well and by this link we may boost the market expectation nothing else.

I think any other big changes will not happened while the other currencies affected are developed because Bitcoin is not so much connected to any other currencies so if the changes will not happen to Bitcoin is not applied for any other investment and the other investment are developed it will not affect bitcoin.

The only connection Bitcoin has is that everyone is pegged against it, all trading pairs are based on bitcoin.

But if there are any effects or correlation? I don't think so, everyone crypto is looking at bitcoin price before they moved. In this instance, it's good to see that Litecoin is making a significant gain but I'm not totally sold on it's effect or at least boost bitcoin price.

For me litecoin probably is late reaction after the bump of bitcoin reason why  the price make an increase as well. because we all knows that mostly alts never increase its value when bitcoin is stable and it will make a move only once bitcoin bullishing again which is always after. So probably it's late reaction and i don't believe litecoin can cause bitcoin to boost in the future since bitcoin always lead the way.

a small rise after a gigantic drop is not called a "surge" and even if there was a surge and more surge in the near future, it will never do anything to bitcoin because first of all LTC market is so much smaller that can not do that but also because it is an altcoin so the relationship is in the opposite direction.

with that said, because of LTC halving we are all expecting a big pump. but i am currently waiting for it to start before deciding what to do.

Without a doubt, Litecoin is a good coin and is one of the best coins so far and it is good for investment because of its advantages this year, I hope that Bitcoin follows Litecoin on the rise, although I only saw the effect of Bitcoin on the rest of the coins, But if Litecoin will open the way for Bitcoin to rise again, this is a good thing and the market may recover quickly, Then the sheep (BTC) will turn into foxes and devours the shepherd (LTC).
