You need to buy at your own assumptions. Top 10 coins still far from it's last time high so purchasing and storing those assets are good for long term
investment, plan your portfolio and keep what you think will bring potential profits. The market volatility needs to be considered so don't quickly judge observe and select the right coin to add inside your wallet,.

I have some investments in Litecoin but I don't think that it will go to the moon because it doesn't have anything that excites its community. If there will be a huge update from the founder of Litecoin like a new feature or huge development then that could trigger a massive price pump but with the current situation of Litecoin, I would suggest to look for better altcoin to invest which have a bigger potential.

I really hope so, because I like Litecoin pretty much. This is one of the first altcoins that was ever created and it is still alive. Furthermore, LTC is very oversold and is worth much more than 60 bucks.

not the fact that another altcoin will take off, still growing on the news, here for litecoin news is and maybe he will lead the growth of the market. I remember it cost 1/20 bitcoin, this situation can happen again)

When OP created thread, we are all opmistic about LTC, the halving was coming, all good news, but a few weeks after and it looks like LTC is having some difficulty to keep the price
Even with altcoins in red, LTC is falling more and more, I've been reading some bad news of Litecoin and I hope devs can keep doing a good work and help LTC to be relevant for some more years

Maybe for the reason of halving it can be termed as the year of Litecoin, but there is nothing big in growth as expected. This means the chances for growth on its own is very low. The growth seems to take place along with the growth of the altcoins, because bitcoin throughout this year seems to grow independently. Last year and all the growth of bitcoin can gets reflected on the altcoins.

I agree that Litecoin is a good and promising coin, but it is unlikely that we will see a large increase in its price in the near future. You can notice a trend that shows us that altcoins practically do not grow if the price of Bitcoin does not grow. Therefore, if Bitcoin does not continue to grow, then waiting for other coins of great growth also makes no sense, even given the positive news.

I agree with you. Why investors have to trust others to choose coins for their portfolios? It sounds very risky. All investors want to earn profits, and in financial games, there are two types of investors: winners and losers. If you are winners, so who will be losers? Litecoin and bitcoin are likely a couple, and Litecoin plays its main role as a trial tool for bitcoin. From the past, we saw so many features applied successfully on Litecoin network, before bitcoin accepted and implemented them on Bitcoin main net. Lightning Network, Segwit are one of them.
