As long as there are ignorant users who will always fall for FUD this will work. Unfortunetely this is scenario that repeats all the time and always has significant success. Do we need more eduaction about bitcoin and how it's functioning, would this solve the problem, at least partialy?

The lack of good news has left room for such panic:

These promoters/FUDding are the ones who created the Bcash and are trying to shake the people's trust in Bitcoin.

Yes - and there is a way to make a profit from it. Everytime you see FUD, set a low buy order, at least 15% below the resistence line, just in case there is a flash crash. You will end up buying some cheap coins which you can immediately offload when the price bounces up. Then rinse and repeat.

Haha yeah mate I'm also looking for him. He's gone when the market is down and he's appearing when the market is up.

No!!!!  Cry

That guy has very flawless timing in selling at the absolute dip that it's very hard to ignore to do opposite of his "advice".
LOL when he advice to sell because there's an upcoming crash, opposite is going to happen.

I think there is truth in what you say, and I agree that a lot of people say bad things about bitcoin just to lower price even more. But I guess that is only natural, things like that will always exist in economic sphere. People will use other's fear for personal benefit, and that is happening now. People should start thinking with their own head, and stop being fooled by wrong or unreliable information.

I guess that some of the others are just riding the bandwagon whenever a FUD comes out. People are easily influenced by what other people say and fear is a very manipulative emotion. Unfortunately, there are many those who fall for these FUDs especially when there are many who would agree. It's quite possible that the FUDs are coupled with a battalion of fake supporters. But then, there are just those others who get influenced and are genuinely just scared.

Yes where is our in-house buy signal? Hahaha.

That guy has very flawless timing in selling at the absolute dip that it's very hard to ignore to do opposite of his "advice".

OP, I suggest that we play along and keep buying the dip.

haha, couldn't agree more. they even proved that JPMorgan bought bitcoin last year when their CEO started the FUD about bitcoin and called it "fraud" and crashed the price temporarily.
and unfortunately FUD will remain a part and parcel of this market as long as it is effective and nowadays everyone is trying to be a part of it because they know it is effective and can be profitable for them!

I’ve heard about a group of people and their connected to each other. They are on cooperation group having accumulated their investment and divided its profit when prices high and buy on dip. I know a friend invest on it and I can’t even assure if that is a good one. They have to spread one news at the same time either bad or news(provided by admin), depend on what their goal. In any social media, twitter, Facebook, Reddit, telegram and I’m sure most of them are posting here.

Not everyone wants to rebuy. Some just want some mental closure to justify their panic sell, or they want to push some alternative investment.

Yes I remember Jamie Dimon regarding the FUD he spread on August and then later on when the price goes lower, he bought loads of it. Maybe he thought people wouldn't know what he did but he was caught since the name of his company is there buying bitcoin. There are also people who are called "nocoiner" who are always active calling bitcoin scam and the ones who are holding it stupid because they claim that bitcoin is useless. They are the ones who are bitter because they weren't able to buy bitcoin when it was cheaper and instead of buying it when it goes lower, they are happy because they thought they are correct and they are very silent when bitcoin is bullish.

A trader tactic. Traders/buyers who wants to accumulate coins at a cheaper price (even not Bitcoin) will start the FUD or support the current FUD. Aren't they doing the same when they want the price to increase?

IMO it becomes natural, we can't control it, but we have a choice if we will be affected or just ignore it.

I guess its their job to spread those FUD's and I wonder if their commander is kwukduck. But I'm not going to generalize most of them, some are just newbies and are scared to lose at the dip hoping that they'll get lambo and be rich by just buying bitcoin and will not experience these corrections. But the sad fact that combining these people who are real FUD'ers and those newbies, they are making the price lower to make others worried about their holdings.

If people wants cheap coins they will spread fud / fake news to drive the price o that coin to go down cause it has potential to grow up, so they want cheap price for it.

There's definitely some truth to what you say but I don't think it is entirely that. I do feel there are some people who truly believe what they are saying and that's only natural. It would be alarming if everyone involved in bitcoin thought the price would go up indefinitely. Even having only been here for less than a year I've already seen how this happens and how doom and gloom are used to manipulate people. I can only imagine how tiresome it must be for those people who've been around much longer.

The best sort of revenge is silent revenge. Meaning, I look at how the value of my Bitcoin holdings has increased throughout the years, look at how people panic and fud, and then smile conservatively. I seriously don't care how much people and the media try to spread fud in an attempt to tank the market. In the long term it's nothing more than noise for Bitcoin's price, and let the long term value be the only thing that actually matters. Funny thing is that while people do initially say that they will be buying if the price has gone down, they don't actually end up doing so because they from that point expect the price to dip even further, and that's mostly where they go wrong. The price shoots up, they wait, the price goes up further, fomo kicks in, and bam, they bought back above the price they sold at. Cheesy

There are even professionals in the fudding game; Polish national bank paid a youtuber 30 000 EUR for FUD. Largest player IMHO at the moment is Bitfinexed, who seems to work for US based, anti-crypto stakeholders  Angry

He also sold his coins at $2000. I guess he is not alone. Lots of coiners sold their coins at those prices and would love to get back in...

I can sense the salt in the air. Notice how everytime Bitcoin pumps, you get an army of people saying "we are going lower". These guys have been watching the price since August (remember in August we were at 3000 and already voices of "it's going to crash" were being heard). A lot of people sold in August, and watched the rally to $20k on the sidelines. These people are now extremely SALTY at the fact that they missed the boat, and don't get fooled, no one thinks Bitcoin is dead and no one thinks the shitcoin being usually promoted by these guys is the future, they just want the price to go down to buy cheaper.

Everyone telling you that Bitcoin is going to stagnate now forever or that this or that shitcoin will take over the #1 spot is a scammer that wants your bitcoins for a cheaper price.
