It's gone forever and what already mentioned on the livecoin's temporary domain was fake and it can't be trusted. the team has gone with the money. There's no latest information about what's happening with livecoin.
They are not even updating it.
There are some investors who have been creating the petition and these people will take legal action against livecoin team who has been running away with the money.
That doesn't make sense to see the hacker was taking over the server that used by livecoin lol.

This is surprising to hear!, although there were talks already about livecoin exchange not being a trusted exchange, i guess with this their latest action just prove what has been said already about them by many people,
what would happen to the people who have assets in the exchange and was not able to withdraw before this stunt the y pull! the investors are right to follow up with a legal action, they should be brought to justice for their actions.

Is live coin beeing hack? its my first time seeing this. Or they will shut down permanently?. I still have coins in my balance there.
they got hacked and their funds were stolen, some people say it's an exit scam, which could be, i don't know, someone moved a hundred btc and more than 300 ETH and other tokens to different wallets and some of them got swapped on uniswap, so maybe it could be the hackers who did that or maybe the team of Livecoin itself.

And according to them this is their temporary official domain:

http://livecoin.news/index.html
Imagine they are still struggling to figure out what happened during the hack and what security flaws were exploited which led to people losing lots of money, and yet they still have no shame in suggesting to people to open up trading accounts and possibly making deposits in the temporary official domain  Roll Eyes

i don't trust them at all, i don't think they really got hacked, it's all a scenario they made to cover up their scam, i used livecoin before, but it's not an exchange that i would trust to deposit a big amount of crypto, there are a lot better, too bad for people who lost their coins.

Well when the news broke out, they said they have lost control of everything, servers, backend and nodes. If that is the case, then probably all the funds are lost now, or so it seems. Yes, there are rumors that it could be an inside job because how come they lost control and up to this day, we haven't had any updates or post-mortem on what really transpired from the questionable hacks before Christmas day. What happen to all of their customers funds now? Where are they?

This is bad, really bad not now the crypto market is experiencing a bull run and this might bring up questions of if really they were hacked or the team trying to steal from users. Nevertheless, this is why it has been bad right from time immemorial to stop keeping huge funds on exchanges most especially some of these small exchanges. Also, it could be the hack is real, that is, since the bull run many people will tend to keep more funds on exchanges for trading or buying their desired crypto thus giving hackers the opportunity they need. However, the exchange really needs to come up and explain what happened and the possible move they are taking on this; there are questions that needs to be answered.

There's a rumor that the hacked happened on Livecoin was an inside job.

I also have a question in my mind, how the hack happened that the unknown attackers had to cash out from accounts and generating gigantic profits.  Well, users now may cry because of the massive fund had lost, despite their reputation had they keep trading in there.  That's the problem of the exchange that doesn't have SAFU, it should have protected the fund of users for any emergency purpose.

For now, the question is, when they will get online?  Or, it will close forever and people think that's an exit scam.

They've been supposedly hack before New Year right? Why it take them some time to be online? And it makes a lot of crypto enthusiast suspect that they are really pulling an exit scam here and just diverting the attention of many of their users.

And as far as I can remember, they have a shady past as well, + this hack = untrustworthy, in my opinion.

The temporary website is entirely useless. That's probably just a show and this issue is just a show to divert the attention to the "hackers" instead of them, who have the funds of their users.
its a big lost too many if they really plan to exit at this time as there are many people use that exchange someone even mention they deposit around 300 BTC.
Such a big loss for users who trusted them.

Its looks like an exit Scam to me and not hacked.

Here is what happening in live coin right now. https://latesthackingnews.com/2020/12/27/livecoin-cryptocurrency-exchange-hacked-losing-control-of-all-servers/  you can find too many complain in twitter saying how many BTC they lost and deposit not appear in the balance . its a big lost too many if they really plan to exit at this time as there are many people use that exchange someone even mention they deposit around 300 BTC.
