Since I'm an extrovert, I'm sure I could live comfortably on my own for no more than 2 weeks, maybe a month. If forced, maybe one or two years
I don’t think it’s possible to stay on this island people can never live alone it is almost impossible for a human being to live for two years. As social animals people live together with their families many took refuge on the island but did not stay long.

I think certain people can survive alone for really long time. If you live in such places with purpose or with goals to accomplish, you'll probably do well. I think some people are created to spend most of their time alone, such people will thrive alone if they are always in the presence of their CREATOR.
I may try to make friends with animals, get them suitable roles to help build a community, do farm work, etc

Maybe someone can live on the island for some years, especially if he can survive by finding foods that are available there on that island. Living on the island means we will live alone and far from what we do daily, far from other people, and not do busy things.

1. No. Too many bugs and weird diet.

2. A solid camper van/recreational vehicle.

3. Isolation and scenery is cool. Weird diet and bugs is bad.

4. I would probably not want to stay even 1 day. I am a city person.

I cannot stay for a day as well, because what will you do alone where you cant see even anybody other than seashore. If you have some friends and relatives and then asked to live with few people for rest of life at island then it would still be fine as you have somebody to talk atleast.
It's no longer living alone if you're going to be with those people that you've mentioned.

But yeah, only those tough people mentally and emotionally can do that alone.

I am a loner so I could probably do it for a long time but having no contact with another human is not good for someone because humans are social animals so maybe an occasional visit from friends of family would be nice but they still have leave the island at some point.

It's a beautiful thing to do, for those who can.
I have been desiring to live like the man since I became a teen years ago. I remember telling a close relative over 15 years ago that when I become independent adult, I would live in a bunker where the noise of the cities/towns can't get to.  Back then I desperately needed time to think about what is being taught us in school and also to spend time with the word of GOD to see how true they are.
Today, it's about running away from the corruption of the towns/cities(and their loads of "evil spirits") to have a quiet time with the CREATOR of this World in a calm/gentle environment. The CREATOR wants his prophets to be isolated in quite/calm/nice environments.

I thought alone means just me without having a girlfriend/wife because I can definitely live with that  Grin

I don't remember where I've read it maybe here in this forum as well.
There was a real story about a person who lived alone for so long on an island and this happens a long time ago probably around 1500s where there are still islands that are undiscovered and very remote. He was from a shipwreck and was drifted to an island and had stayed there for so long that when he was rescued because a boat suddenly passed by. The person already has a hard time speaking, his tongue just couldn't pronounce words properly anymore.

I must Admit that I'm a Loner but you asked me this when i already have my own family.

If you asked me Before i live with my Family then i will choose having there but now? i cannot live alone but let me bring my wife and children and i will choose that forever living there.
it is right that family is the most important part of our lives, even though sometimes we need time alone to focus more on life goals, but we cannot forever live alone without a family.

I am a very social person, for example being involved in social activities, one of which is helping and giving a little fortune to nursing homes and orphanages.

I would also be amazed if it was true that someone could live alone for more than a month on a desert island. Because basically humans are
social creatures, so we need the presence of other humans to live. I wouldn't even last more than a week having to stay on the island alone,
let alone run out of food. I can't imagine having to hunt for food, therefore it requires skills and knowledge to survive if we plan to live alone
on the island for a long time.
True, I also agree, to survive on the island alone requires skill and knowledge. For example, knowledge of how to hunt animals for food and when bitten by a poisonous snake, what should we do first? or for example contracting malaria and so on.

I have some question for all of you Huh

No, I wouldn't want to live on a desert island by myself. I have a loved one, and I don't want to live the rest of my life apart from her.
So, assuming that the requirements (such as food, drinking water, and shelter) are covered, I'd like a decent laptop, a solar charger, and some kind of satellite connectivity to access the Internet.

I'd probably last a year or two. After that, I'd get bored and want to return to civilization.

Wow, can you last for a year or two? in my opinion it is quite extraordinary if I myself, maybe only a month at the longest, of course I feel lonely.
Living alone is not wrong, it's okay. if I myself, it is definitely not possible to survive for 32 years.

Maybe the first week you can still, in the second week you will feel lonely, the third week you have started to be depressed or stressed that there are no friends or partners to talk to. The fourth week I have tried to escape from the island by all means, for example making a rowing raft out of the island looking for another island with a lot of inhabitants.
