Was the amount resent, or the old transaction showed up correctly?
If the error is resolved, you should post saying its safe to use Blockchain.info again.

Resent. The old transaction vanished and my balance got itself corrected.

It is safe to use blockchain wallet. Although delay issues may happen again.

Blockchain.info is broken right now *sigh*

Check the address on blockexplorer.com or another site, if the transaction is there and has at least 1 confirmation the payment was sent.

The payment is not sent. My balance should be zero while it shows 0.4. Smiley

I will send in tomorrow from bitfinex. Smiley

Check your transaction on btc.blockr.io
It may have gone through and the current wallet is showing a wrong balance.

I have found that I had spend the funds: http://btc.blockr.io/address/info/1FEFbvesv5aWTyffJ2Nge6C83TtP7SX1fE

It is only the problem with blockchain and their wallet.
Since, this is spreading, and I am not sure from where it started, can someone tell me how to deal with this?

I will pay the lender by withdrawing from bitfinex. It should work smoothly.

But I need advice on this. I don't want this warning everwhere, though it is shown only on blockchain.

Update:
A quote from someone else posting a similar issue.
It means someone somewhere cheated you by sending you funds that never confirmed and instead were double spent.  You then unknowingly are propagating this cheat to someone else by sending a payment with funds that will never confirm and include a double spent coin.

Nobody cheated him. Its a current issue with blockchain.info wallets.

The balance should come back and then the transaction can be resend. Wait for sometime and let them fix this.

The problem happens as blockchain.info allows unconfirmd inputs. Once those blocks got orphaned, they were resent in the next transaction, but the original inputs in the blockchain.info transaction remained, leading to a double spend error.

They may take time to fix this, they have a pathetic and incompetent team and its holidays on top of it.

If this one doesn't reach you, I will send it again. this time from bitfinex.

Update: my balance of 0.4BTC became 0.29BTC after sending it. And now it is back to 0.4BTC.
Is it blockchain rejecting the transaction?

Is it ok to try sending again?

I cannot find one of the transaction I made yesterday, in My transactions.

What should I do?

I sent from blockchain wallet.

But when I see it from blockchain, I get a warning.

Warning! this bitcoin address contains transactions which may be double spends. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to or from this address.
Why is that?

Can someone explain what is happeining? I think there is an issue with blockchain. My wallet is showing incorrect balance?

You are going to want to publicly post a TXID to fund the loan and a repayment address. Otherwise there is going to be controversy when there is a dispute (not if)

Huh
txid is already posted. There is only one sending address which is 1Gf7ZWe4UXG9nNpsh5c4qpLoCSULA4VFSU . So what is the issue?

ndnhc,

I noticed a confirmation (without specifying change of address) earlier.
That post seems to have been deleted, with a new one specifying changed address coming up.
Since the bitcoins have already been transferred, please confirm that everything is in order.

Yeah, everything is in order. The older post was edited not deleted.
