Just going to chime in here. Could we not have left this new user a neutral. Then explained to them how this is not the appropriate way to build up a trusted reputation?

The OP was given an explanation by TryNinja why his behavior is untrustworthy, and he had the opportunity to retract his statement, and acknowledge that this is frowned upon.  Instead, he doubled down and proceeded as he had started.  I wouldn't have left him a review at all if he had adjusted his approach.

Also, I have a strong suspicion this "newbie" isn't really a newbie at all.

OP
What is it you feel you need to be trusted to do? Newbies can buy and sell and generally bid on anything here on the forum. Sometimes you are asked to go above and beyond what other users may have to do - Proof of Funds, send first(Not always advisable but a different story)/use escrow. Seeking loans for the sole purpose as to gain credit, works for banks but here it looks shady.

Not sure if your trust will be made neutral or not, but I suggest just trying to do whatever it was you wanted here. People will set their terms with you on a case by case basis. Just to clarify for you the reason this seems really shady, is you can grab a bunch of small loans, pay them back have a few good reviews then move up to a larger loan and bolt. People have gone to further lengths than that.

As you wish my friend. If you have something against me its oky, just leave marco alone...almost in this thread.

I have nothing against you personally but I really don't approve of anyone attempting to play the trust system, regardless of their end motive.  If you had any trustworthiness to your character it would have become obvious in due time.  Even if all you are attempting to do is accelerate that inevitability, that alone is deceitful.

I'm afraid you just made it nearly impossible for me to trust you.

marco is the only one who trusted my and startet to deal with...Its hard to start as newbie. I dont care what he did in past, with me he was fair.

Well, don't be surprised if no one jumps on your offer.  It's not only you that needs to trust marco, the lender must also trust your chosen escrow.  Good luck with that.

I'm trying to get some loan to incrase my trust, i have to start somewhere and i decided here. Its stupid, right, but at least i can build some trust base. I just want to proof that i'm not a scamer, even if i lose some btc early. Thats all.

Farming trusted reviews is a form of scam.  It's deceptive on it's premise.  Coincidentally, that's why I gave marco a negative review, because of his deceptive behavior.  You have just proven that you are not at all trustworthy.

Yes. Sounds exactly like the people who get a lot of small loans to build some trust and start increasing the amount until one day they just scam. You are basically buying trust. This is something you build through the years, and not making fake trades and getting loans.

Why would anyone trust you just because you got a loan and gave it back in 48 hours? How does that make you a trusted person? Just because you didn't scam now? How is that a guarantee that you aren't going to scam in the next loan you get or the next trade you make because you are now a "trusted" person?

Its normal to think that. All of us could do that, i get loans and I disappear after i got 1 btc as loan because people trust me. We could all do it. It's just a matter of trust. Even I thought that people could arrive at your own reasoning, it's just a risk I wanted to take.
"How does that make you a trusted person?"...hem...Can you explain to me how people come to trust each other in the field of commerce? I mean in the online btc business. If I want a loan, do I have to prove that I can pay and at that moment gain trust or not? And obv pay it back.
And we all they them to get a valid collateral or gtfo. But what you are doing is plain and simple trust farming.

Ture, i even admited that i'm tryng to get trust. Somewhere i have to start.

@DadyD best option is to buy an altcoin (I say ETH because of the potential BTC-pair to increase in the coming months..), and then use that (roughly 0.08ETH I think) to secure BTC for you to use.

i think so..

Dishonest? Buddy, all scamers and newbie comes here asking for loans without collateral or escrow, I at least took the trouble to find myself an escrow. I have 0 trust and merit, i just want to build some, thats all. If your not agree isnt that a bad think, its just your opinion.

@DadyD you have 0.0017 BTC already, which you want to use as collateral to borrow 0.0015 BTC?  Why?  If you need 0.0015 just spend the BTC you already have then pay yourself back, with interest if you must.  Using an asset as collateral to borrow the same type of asset and then pay the lender even more of that asset just seems like the stupidest thing I can think of.

And another thing that causes my brain to hurt: Out of all the reliable, reputable, trustworthy lenders and escrow agents on this forum you choose to deal with marcotheminer?  Have you seen his trust rating?  What the fuck is really going on here?

Dude, this is the exact opposite way of getting trust. You are probably getting a negative trust now.

Getting a ton of loans just to increase your trust? Really? Don't you see how shady and dishonest this is?

What is the DadyD's collateral?

I am able to send you 0.0017BTC.

then directly send DadyD the BTC man. This sounds very strange really.

Ok - he had me hold onto that amount. @DadyD ?

Its same for me...I've pref to use an escrow to avoid fees but its same. If you want i can send coins.

Does marcotheminer send the collateral to the lender?
If yes, I'm willing to give you this loan.

Yes I am able to do that, once done however I no control over what happens after. Saying this for both lender and borrower. I can send now on DadyD/jbdee's confirmations of collateral address.
