Loans are too risky if you ask for huge amount which you can't affors to repay back, or if you give loan without getting a valid collateral. Otherwise i don't think it's risky way
I think if we are a borrower and lender will extend a loan to us without any collateral then that would be in our advantage. As much as possible we should pay the amount due to have our reputation maintain in this forum, it is not easy to build such reputation and we are just going to risk for a small loan.

I don't believe a word. You Said that you bought it at 2010 when the price was 0.07$. i clearly remembered that the price was 80$-90$ at February 2010 when i joined bitcoin and in that year it hardly increased up to 120$ . now lets believe for a sec that you really have 800 Btc (520000 USD) so why you want to loan  it to some other people why don't you buy some super expensive miners and enjoy the awesome profit.you can run your own business with it

loaning is always too risky because people that gets money usually won't want to give that money back not matter what so it is pretty risky
it always happens to me when I lend it to my friends, they are always difficult to pay back.
but if I lend in this forum or elsewhere that there is a collateral, so it does not matter if they do not pay. because collateral should have the same value or more of the loan amount.

Loans can be risky if you take some at the same time. That can grab you and crush your life. I'm staying away from loans, but if it's gonna be long term investment as buying of a house - I will take a loan surely.

I think if you accept collateral when you give out a loan, you remove some of the risk. Also, if the borrower is a trusted member of the bitcoin forum, then you reduce the risk as well. But you are correct that we are always taking some risk when lending.

I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

If the end justifies the means. That risk is taking place. Furthermore, such companies are always associated with the risk. For this, you need to protect yourself from all sides. And it is desirable to have insurance for such cases. But as it is better to create one, everyone needs for themselves, decide for himself.

Loans doesn't seem to be risky when you get proper collateral as well user with large number of trust rate. But its truly difficult to find such users through the forum even if you create a separate thread. Also if you go through the lending most users who request for lending is newbies.
In that is the trick and the complexity of lending. If you want the most benefits, you must sometimes take risks. But risks must be justified. No loans are not familiar faces. For which no one can guarantee. And you will be happy. And too much collateral, you will scare away, all clients.
Too much collateral and you cannot get any client, it should just be the right amount of collateral that would commensurate the loan amount. Remember that a person when in need with give all the collateral just to have a loan but when he really cannot pay in the end he will not pay.
Verneuil words. When a person gets into a difficult situation. He is ready to go to any conditions. Just to find a way out of this situation. He just can not correctly assess their capabilities. Some who uses it. And then there are various not pleasant situation.

and almost 99% newbies ask newbies they don't have plan to repay the loan. because mostly when a newbie ask for loan he is a scammer. I think giving loan now adays risky enough. because a trusted account also can be hacked. it is happen lots of time before.

i think loans might be really risky, to be honest people might easily just not return it back if they borrow money, and that would lead to a huge loss so i dont loan my money

Loans are always been risky for both part, for lender and for borrowers. In lender, it is going to be a lost of his money when the borrower is not going to pay for the amount of the loan and interest and the borrower is just going to depend on his collateral and don't mind to pay using it. And for borrower, it is going to be a downfall for you if you aren't able to pay for your debt.
In general the risk is on the part of the lender my friend and I believe on what I have read. Lending your money is very risky even if the collateral is their, like my account if I loan money and my account is my collateral and it will give me 1 BTC then I would intentionally default it because I believe my account is not worth 1 BTC,

Anyway, that is just an example and I don't know with other people here.

What you are saying is when you are giving loan in against of collateral with 80% of the collateral value then what you are telling is right that the borrower will default it as they have got their 80% value of the collateral but if you give 50% of the collateral value as loan then the borrower will not try to default the loan as he will lose his collateral which is valued only 50% , like this you can also be secure by giving loan against to collateral.
Tell me please. Why do I loan if umenja already have most of the money ?! If time permits, I'd earn not get part of the money supply. The whole point of kriditovaniya lies in the fact that need a large amount of cash. At a time when at your disposal there is only a small part of the money.

There should be always a middle man with this. Someone who could be trusted by both side. If none then a loan cannot come to a go a deal. It would be better to not do it or else someone might get scammed.

You're right. Loans, like roulette. The risk of all. If possible, of course you can try to protect themselves and their money. But one hundred percent guarantee, you will not be able to give none. Always there is a possibility that the case may intervene in the case of his greatness.

You do not want your money to work for you?! It money to work for you?! It is not reasonable with your hand to think so. The risk is always there in such matters . But nothing ventured , nothing gained! Money does not have to lie dead weight. They should bring their owner, even a lot of money. Otherwise, what they are you?!
