There are many projects that don't automatically swap their tokens and you have to do it manually by signing up in a form and if you don't do it, your tokens remain locked and worthless that will be in your wallet for decades, and that happened for me there are many bounty campaign that i joined so i rarely visit their social media account for updates and only wait for the token to be listed on exchange but my one token has a exchange and it's price is decent and when i try to exchange it but they swapped their tokens so always check their site.

The tokens are most likely swapped. It happened with me that tokens were locked and they automatically sent me new tokens with a new symbol and kept the old tokens locked. You should keep following such projects on telegram or discord to be informed about the swap else you'll lose those tokens. Some projects require you to do KYC to unlock the tokens.

Sometimes, they swap tokens from one to other chains (for example, eth to eos). Anyway, the best way would be to ask the project staff, it's funny to me how many people don't care to be up to date with project happenings.

could be possible that the project owners has forgotten to unlock these tokens.

No, if the team are professional they will follow the road map and if there's a changes there's always an announcement to be made to communicate the investors. The team did not forget, most likely it's just one of the projects that goes scam and did not survive the long bear market.

There is no need to keep asking/bumping/replying to a thread when OP doesn't even show up a week after he posted the question. Let him come and ask first before you post (something similar to what others said).

What do you mean by that, is it possible that the team is still active in handling this project?
Try raising the gas higher normally it can directly transfer the token without failure, if this token has migrated or swapped and it has been closed because it has been doing so long so I don't think it can be done other than contacting the developers.

If it's better in my opinion include the token link to make it easier to help.

Is it possible to check by myself it the tokens are locked or not (in case team is silent or ignore my question)? Maybe this can be done by investigating contracts source code ? Or by "event" log on http://etherscan.io of the contract?

Yes you can. Try the simple one and much effective way. Send to other wallet the token if it does failed then its locked. The only reason the transaction failed its either you dont have enough gas to cover the tx fee or the tokens are still locked. Anyway it will be noted when it got failed.

Regarding source code, I'm no expert with this, so I'm not sure if this is possible or how to. But the abovementioned process is much easier though you need to spend a little just to know.

I know some tokens from bounty before locked and minted new tokens because some are dumped and also abused by many token holders like Mozo and some are swap into another chain it must be better if you contact them into official social media or telegram account to be sure about the current status of each project.

I think it might be best to contact the location from where you received this token they're going to only be ready to offer you detailed information about this token If they need to be scammed, they're going to not trade yet but you'll not be ready to transfer if they're trading within their own group I even have many tokens that I couldn't swap now but are trading.

I discovered that there are tokens that i received as payment for bounty campaigns and Airdrop. these tokens has been in My wallet for over one year. i knew projects do lock tokens for over a period of one year or below.

I am certain that these token has passed the locked period. i found it difficult to transfer these tokens to the exchanges. after several account migration. i also discovered that some of these projects are no more(SCAM) but they are still trading.
My observation is : could be possible that the project owners has forgotten to unlock these tokens. could it be possible there was a swap. even if there was a swap, i can still transfer the token out of my wallet.

What could be the problem??

Once there was a swap it is difficult to recover those old tokens. In many cases, some crypto project managers/team care nothing about their supporters and don't give them plenty of time doing the swap and holders/supporters of the tokens just lost them.

This is a good chance to get to know well a project, if they swap and don't give enough time for it then you can just imagine how awful that team is and can be in the future, better not to engage with their projects, there are many unprofessional like that.

My observation is : could be possible that the project owners has forgotten to unlock these tokens.

This is unlikely to happen. Basically, smart contracts are responsible for locking and unlocking tokens. Devs specify when exactly to unlock a token so it's done automatically without needing a human interference.

If you have a token you are interested in then you should keep an eye on the project official website or communication channels such as Telegarm to stay updated and know about major events.
If the team decide to swap and start using their own chain then the initial tokens will become worthless. Hence, it won't matter if you can transfer them or not.
The previous post about unlocking a token is possible when the dev decides to unlock and then lock it again. There is a token I own before which they locked it and we are waiting for the dev to unlock the token. Things that you can't do to a lock token is you can't transfer the token to another. I am not sure if I remember correctly what token it is.

The token that you are talking about might have been locked if there is a swap happened. The only thing you should do is to contact the one who manage the token and ask them that you want to swap your token. If you have received a token from bounties and they locked it then you can ask the team running that token to unlock the tokens. It is the team's decision if they give you the chance to unlock token but if it is traded already then they'll unlock it eventually.

Best thing to do right now is to contact the team in their telegram channel most probably.

As a bounty hunter, you must aware on the tokens you are receiving and at the same time you must know which of the tokens you get are considered scam coin or dead coin. Most probably is that most of your tokens are now abandoned coins and it is just a mere decoration in your ERC-20 wallet.

There are many things that possibly happen maybe you are right there is a swap or that token is already abandon and turned scam, but the best thing you need to do is contact their support via email or directly on their social media like telegram and state your problem for sure someone will answer you from there. No one can exactly answer you here because we don't know the name of the project.

Asking this in general is a bit silly. Ask those that made this token. If swaps happened they should tell you where to swap or at least tell you that you missed deadline to swap them.

I know this section is for asking help but you have been around bounties for so long that you are supposed to know where is the best place to ask or research. I echo what rhomelmabini said about wanting to be spoonfed and also that of sujonali1819 about mentioning the project or the tokens instead of us making guesses here. Don't expect us to know more than the token holder.

If you sure they're scam projects, then there will be no hope that you can sell them. That is, there is no continuous development.
If their tokens are still available on the market, opening the hunters' tokens will make their tokens even less valuable.

But wait, I need more explanation about this.
i found it difficult to transfer these tokens to the exchanges. after several account migration.
Are your tokens stored in one wallet? Does this mean you have difficult to transfer the token because you can't access to the wallet? That's not the problem with the tokens, you should contact your wallet provider.

You probably missed the announcements of those projects you are talking to or do you still subscribed from their social media channels or any messaging platform like telegram (most widely used for these) or discord? If I were you, you better search for those project's websites as you said they are still trading I am guessing they are still operating and look for their blogs if there's any because they do post some instructions there.

If you think that those tokens just been forgotten to unlocked I think you can find some ramblings on their channels like "when unlocked?", "when exchange?" mostly these are the main issue being thrown on telegram channels. If I were you, you may search for those keywords and I guess you'll find the answer. The problem is you don't do some researching and you just want to be spoonfed here, just my two cents.
