You thought I was serious about the frog in the ice cube? Well, I guess I failed to judged my audience correctly. I apologize and will try to be more clear in the future.

Thanks.

You need to put those conceptual wheelchair ramps on your posts if you are going to apply the sarcasms.

Any of the following are acceptable models.

  • Normal smiley:  Smiley
  • Winking smiley, which shows that you're joking:  Wink
  • Other, less used smileys:  Cheesy Grin Roll Eyes Tongue
  • "Fake" HTML "close sarcasm" indicator:
  • For advanced users only, irony punctuation: ⸮

Personally, I like to return to those handicapped in the arts of subtext detection the gift they give us, ignorance.  It's right there under their contact methods on every post.

I wasn't going to post until the end but that was funny.  LMAO  Wink  Wink  Cheesy  Grin  Angry  Sad  Shocked  Cool

Just wondering... is there a deadline for this contest?

I am considering making a design, but haven't heard about this until today... trying to gauge if I'll have the time...
Have you read the thread title?

Haha. I read the whole thread, but clearly missed the title. Thanks!

nice designs. I think sticking with either the ship, parrot or compass are the best references without being disconcerting.

I thought you were going to quit trolling, or do you not understand sarcasm? In any event try to work on English comprehension. These sort of life skills are really important.
Hey, if you are trying to be sarcastic, you need to try a lot harder.

Dollartrader's top logo has my vote at this point. Matthew's point is a good one about including "pirate" themes in the logo; might drive away investors who do not get the joke.

The joke to me being that banks take your money, and so do pirates.

honestly id trust a real pirate over a real banker...

And you run a company in bitcoin where you hold people's money? Yikes.

why do people keep posting a frog in an icecube?

Quoted for comedy gold. That is "imageshack" and some places are blocked/disallowed so it shows the imageshack logo. I always encourage people to use imgur.com instead if imageshack.us. I used to support them, but not anymore.

My next entry.

Second one has little bit different with a pirate skull in the logo. In this logo the black bar represents a black pirate hat.

Hope you guys like it and comment always welcome.

Edit: Added others logo's here with new link from imgur in stead of imageshack

I keep to the B&W logos as they are more professional in print. Color logos look like shit if you print them on letter heads.
I'm sure pirate will be using a lot of letterheads.  Tongue

I like the first one for the style, but honestly I have to question the mindset behind OP for asking for a pirate to be associated with people's savings/trust. The only thing better than that would be if he turned out to be a scammer. I mean, come on people.

The logo designer, not knowing anything about bitcoin (until now), asked the exact same question... Smiley

The B from bitcoin is masked, out of the shape of a sail.
Giving a subtly hint the the name of the service below.
Hope you guys like it.

I don't know about you, but it seemed like no one else was even trying.
Make the coin a Casascius coin and you might be onto something.  Grin
