Bitcoin is forecast to be 10k before end of this year so 6500-7000 is still a good position to buy and take profit in 1-2 months. Expected corrections after the fork is also a good time to buy during the dip. Long term investment is also good with current wide adoption of bitcoin and going mainstream it still promise a lot of room for profit before it reach the plateau.

As alot of people are saying the current landscape of BTC is too high for it to be a good buy if you want to just trade. For long term investment, BTC is a strong buy though as comparison to the stock market; marketcap for BTC is very small. I plan to hold my BTC for long term regardless of the upcoming fork.

I think you should not just go for long term investment in bitcoin but also try to maximize by investing into different type of ICO in the future and also try trading to find a good opportunity to grow your bitcoin exponentially.

What I did was I bought btc for 100$ with 6000$ ea. As a newbie I already earned about 10$+ and Im planning to sell this before the fork would end. Not bad for me for I can use this to buy alts before the fork would end so their prices still dip. For your 2.4k$ you can earn about 500$ so not bad for the two weeks fork coz after the fork btc price would dip and if you are not willing to hold your btc for a long period of time, you would probably lose your investment.

If a person is interested in long term investment, then there is no doubt that still it is a good time to invest their money in bitcoin. While for short term investment you need to be more careful, In fact the price is now trading above 7000$ that is really a very high price bitcoin has crossed. i am sure that after November the price of bitcoin will take a little correction and can dump a little. Therefore the short term investors should wait a little and when the price of bitcoin will drop down a little then they should invest money in bitcoin for getting instant income.

Lol. 13 years? You have to be really patient to get that target dude. Bitcoin is probably the best investment you can pit your money into if you're planning to.hold.for a year or two. I'm not really sure though if it will be a good thing to hold past 3 years but who knows. Good luck man

Good plan to invest with bitcoin, but this moment is bad for buy it. Bitcoin price to high and has stable volume, that's is not good situation for your good plan. Besides that, there's big news about hard fork and most of us replace fund into currency for safety. I hope you can wait until next year and keep watch price action/ volume for btc market. Keep patience and good luck to you.

for now if you have to plan to invest in bitcoin just wait the hardfork done before you buy bitcoin because it have a chance to fall in down the price...or else if you want extra segwit2 just invest now but the price of bitcoin for now is so high its not good to invest...the advantage to buy bitcoin for now is you can get extra bitcoin segwit2x...

If you have 2400 dollars and if you want to invest it to bitcoin that's good idea but I hope thats your extra moneh. Because whta if bitcoin price decrease for sure your moneu will decreased too. After you bought bitcoinI suggest buy different altcoin thats helps your bitcoin grow. But It's up to you if you hold or you invest to altcoin. Choose what is best for you.

I've heard about several websites that promises enormous return in just a few days and I'm aware of it. But I tried Bitcoin Invest (http://bitcoininvest.cf) putting just half BTC. Yesterday I got 0.702 bitcoins! This is trully working! They promise at least 38% and that's more reasonable and they're also online more then a year, differently from others. Cheesy
