long-term investing also has risks especially when people become greedy and refuse to sell even though they already have profits of more than 4X, I keep asking myself:
Do certain people have a goal when investing for the long term or simply want to make profits of more than 1000%?
because I see people say they already have high profits but they keep doing hodl, do these people think that altcoin will always rise and never fall?

Most of the people choose Bitcoin for the long term investment and it is the best choice also. We are seeing that last 5 years, Bitcoin has proved what actually it is. Ethereum, BNB have potential too. I hope these coins will be rising with Bitcoin in future.

I honestly wouldn't bother with SOL.
Price is inflated quite drastically and I think that you are better off holding some of the more established coins such as ETH.
You could diversify into some of these high risk, high reward coins like SOL and ADA, sure. But at the end of the day you shouldn't have them constitute the majority of your portfolio.

I feel that Cake coin holder. The usual strategy of holders wanting to attract others to buy the coins they hold. Better to follow your own instincts and don't follow other people's advice because most of the time they are holders of the coins or tokens they promote. Cake promises but you also need to judge your own choices. Long-term investing requires patience along the way. Well since it was a long term investment, BTC and ETH even though have very expensive transaction fees and cost to invest, still stand above of the rest cryptocurrencies. You looking for something to hold for the long term, not something for daily trade or use, remember?
