What regulations are you referring to?
I have been reading posts on here for a few weeks. Just bought bitcoin right when it started to skyrocket. Hubby told me about them months ago but he was cautious until there seemed to be some traction, and the news that there was going to be some regulation for money laundering. Wish we would have joined sooner, of course, but we think it will take off in the next few years.

Hi all. Lurking is that what I have been doing for 2 months now? Though this is my first post I have been keeping up with the AM thread as well as several others. Should have signed up right from the beginning... probably would be a hero member by now.

I too have been lurking a long while. I knew about BTC years ago and thought it was a cool idea but a) Didn`t imagine it would get as big as it has done and b) Was really busy with life and didn`t pay the attention to tech news that I normally did. I wish I`d gotten into the mining back then, but who doesn`t!?
Anyway, now I`m very interested in both the long-term project and the potential short-term profit. I don`t know where and how far BTC and other cryptocurrencies can go, but I am very interested in watching - and overall, I`ve been extremely pleased and surprised with how welcoming and helpful the BTC community has been.
