The term altcoin is too broad, when it comes to bitcoin we know that we are only talking about a single asset, but there are 12k altcoins at the moment and those are the ones we know, as there are probably thousands of altcoins no one has ever heard about, then if someone is interested in investing in an altcoin they can do it, but they need to make sure they are investing in an altcoin that will do well during this bull run, otherwise it will be preferable for them to just buy bitcoin and ignore those altcoins instead.

The long awaited SEC approval of Bitcoin ETF has finally happened, a good news for Bitcoin investors, although there was news about the approval being fake news yesterday, but I'm glad that it's behind us now. I'm hoping that it lives up to the it's hype since last year and make Bitcoin to be more profitable, because there shouldn't be anything holding it to reach the $100 mark.

Investing in top Altcoins should be profitable too now because investors will want to take the advantage of the Bitcoin pumping to bull run and also be happy to take advantage of them, because they'll also bull run too. I agree with the potentials of the top altcoins that you mentioned, especially Ethereum, which investors are tipping to make massive impact like Bitcoin. Although I've decided to put all my eggs in one basket in this bull run, it's only Bitcoin for me.

Ethereum
BNB
LTC
Matic

Probably I don't ask for the other must invest with above four coins but looking the potential of four coins is very good for investing, ETH have good movement and today make new highest price raise until $2,6k. Currently not recommended to buy when price up but you can wait when little correction and ETH is easy recovery for higher price.

Indeed, SEC approval for bitcoin ETFs is good news and will make the price of bitcoin itself soar. not to mention the halving agenda this year. it will be very difficult for small investors especially those who are just familiar with bitcoin.

one of the investment instruments that can still be reached is indeed altcoin. and I believe that ETH, BNB, and SOL are good altcoin investment sectors for the future. especially like SOL which is a tight competitor to ETH because of its faster network and cheaper transaction fees.

We still have time to invest into Bitcoin as price may increase even further but for larger margin as you said ETH would be better because approval of Bitcoin's ETF has opened the possibility of ETH ETF approval as well and afterall we can invest into ETH as it's the most reliable crypto after Bitcoin. But I would say people should use illogical thoughts like investing into random altcoins mad altcoins which are under $1 like they do around bull run.

Supporting that as altcoin supporters we should wait for Ethereum ETF now , though there is not great effect about Bitcoin ETF in the market price now after approval.
but for now let us savor first what we have now and hoping that the maximum increase that we all expect for this approval will be attain.
