Most of the people around the world need of the lawyers advice to secure their assets. This problems was occur with the people, where cryptocurrency was a taxable one.The crypto currency taxation was the new way of taxation was imposed by the government now a days. Many developing country government was started to impose more tax on the traders now.Now crypto market already trouble the people, this taxation was a double burden.
Not totally a double burden unless if you do touch up centralized platforms or services then you would definitely be having that taxation problem specially if the government where you do live will really be serious on cracking and tracing down into those people who do get involved with crypto.
@OP, if you do look for a lawyer then you would definitely need to see one locally.Dont ever tend to look online, nothing beats off when you do have some personal or face to face approach on someone
you do really need up.
Knowing that this had to deal with Poloniex, then i highly doubt that there's some lawyer will able to handle out such case or situation.

Good luck in your efforts, for me,,, whatever the reason I think that sometimes if more people in crypto, including myself, went to fight some events with the projects that let us down in this space, we would not have so many scammers.

But we are ashamed for joining these projects even though we did nothing wrong, we were lied and tricked,,, and we should have gone to sue people to teach them a lesson and get justice. It is too late for me as I lost all information in my past, but good luck for you.

It's not about finding a lawyer is the issue. The issue is that, do you have the resources and claims to fight them. Although I don't know the claim or damaged they have caused you. Demanding for justice is okay by me, I hope you're financially ready for that

If Bitcoin is legal in your country, you will no longer need an attorney to help you, but you will only go directly to the government because the government is obliged to help their citizens because all of us pay. Bitcoin tariffs for them so that we are protected from any crypto currency concerns
What are you talking about? First off if he is on a country that Bitcoin is illegal he can't even seek council of a lawyer for claiming a property that is labeled illegal in their country. It is just an individual problem, why would you involve the government right away. If you are talking about public attorneys yes he can have one, but if you are talking about agencies like the FBI or CIA his complaint will just be put into the trash bin as you are making him ask for help with the wrong department, they won't even take him seriously. Even if we are paying our taxes we should know where to ask for help and not look dumb and go to the government directly.

Looking for a lawyer online will be a big mistake, chances are what you are talking isn't even a lawyer in the first place. If you seek for legal consultation going to what is locally available is the best thing you can do. With claims to Poloniex I don't think that you need a lawyer who has a specialty in the crypto market as you are complaining against a company and all lawyers can handle cases involves with that just as long as you hire someone capable representing you with what you want to do.
I don't know why some people do really ask for help on finding online lawyers which they can eventually seek out locally. If you are on a desperation on looking out for one
would lead out into being scammed as being said you might able to find faked ones. Filing up complaint on poloniex seems like to be a very long process and if op have the money
to fight then its his choice.

Hey There
I'm looking for a lawyer who know about Crypto Market. I have a big problem with poloniex and can't get any help from SEC or other institutions.
Does someone has any experiences with this?

Cheers

What is your problem with Poloniex exchange? Did your assets gone? Problem with exchanges are tough because of anonymous transactions that we need  a lot of identifications for a certain claim and i think there is no lawyer that have master the law of Crypto currency by field therefore any lawyer will do. Just choose the best lawyer in the town and they will study your case as long as you have the money for their services.

Well I think if crypto is legal in your country it might not be hard, but if it isn't perhaps you'd better see some help in the internet that might give you much more information since crypto is also alive in internet. Just tell the situation, because I don't get what your problem is, and how it should be treated.

You know what, rather than looking for a lawyer because from your tone, it sure sounds like you are looking to sue maybe because of the way you have been treated. But the best way is to lay bare what is going on and you might be surprised someone might have gone through the same thing as yours and would be able to advise you accordingly without the need of going through the hassles of lawyers. Except the lawyer is a friend of yours be ready to part away with huge funds under the guise of consultancy fee and hourly billables.

If you're in trouble or being scam you will look for justice and because its anonymous and decentralized, people might think that it will is beyond justice, but because you have right of  personal possession and privacy you have the right to sue every one according to your rights, and you  can find a good lawyer about that but it would entail big money.

Don't want to knock you down so soon, but you might have signed off your rights simply by using Poloniex, as it implies that you accept and agree to their Terms of Service. I personally think it's unethical and illegal, but apparently, the law allows businesses to ask its customers to waive these rights when they use their services. F'd up, but that's how it is.

If you still want to engage someone, please ensure they see this TOS first: https://poloniex.com/terms/

Specifically, the opening line in upper case: "THESE TERMS OF USE CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER THAT IMPACT YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE DISPUTES."
