I can provide the community with JKC mining pools.

DDOS proof.

I can offer bounties to create a nice user interface for these pools and get things going.

Time is huge on my hands.

You've got a big red scammer tag..

I have a feeling people won't take nicely to the fact an alt coin is ran by someone labelled as that.

Fine, appoint a new leader but you stay in place as Treasurer.

Changing who controls the treasury just increases the risk.

You already could steal it, no point going like "oh well he hasn't stolen it, better give someone else a chance to!"

My vote goes for MarkM as Treasurer  :-)

Thanks guys for your support. The main reason is that I have a day job, so I can't be in the forum all the time. But I guarantee you that I will be there, I will not quit, I will support the new leader. This is in the interest of all who hold JKC.

The good news is that I already found an excellent person to fit this position. He has been long time in the forum and is passionate about the e-coins, he has great knowledge and been very consistent. He has a great plan to fix the issues we have and lead us to the next level. We will prepare the transition soon, and will make announcement. Keep faith and you will not be disappointed! This is the most honest coin here!

Stay in the top spot mate, you've been good for the coin.

Then appoint a couple of people to be your right hand men/women.

agreed, giving it out to people you don't really know might turn out to be a bad idea

j2082, you seem like a very forthright and honest individual.  I would rather see you manage the reserve, even if it stays unspent, then designate a "new leader" who may squander it.

That doesn't need to be a full time job.  Just monitor the boards periodically and send out the bounty for major milestones such as exchange support.

Agree with this.  Smiley

lol, fair comments. There are two issues with JKC:

1. name: yes I made a mistake there. We try to fix it by calling it JKC or JKC coin now. As completely to change a name is too late now (due to config dir, client etc).

2. though I stated very clearly from the beginning the purpose of the 1 mil reserved bounty, many people still think it inadequate, they think I will take it. Now, by finding a new leader and hand over him everything, I hope this misunderstanding will be cleared. Actually looking at this alt coin world, JKC is the most clean and honest one ever created. After launch people observed the block number at 150 or 170 (1st 100 was for bounty reserve), do we ever see this in any other coins?

anyway, with the new leader I am sure JKC will be a success. I will not quit, I will still mbe there to support the new leader and JKC.

The OP really made a half-arsed launch of this coin, shame as he had some nice ideas. The name was worst idea ever though  Grin

However, he looks like a nice guy and made some effort to fix a mess he made on the beginning.

Not sure I'm yet ready to invest in this one but good luck to people that did.

Thanks for those applying, I will need to leave this for a while, so all the people can see it. So from the application I'll choose a best one for the community.

If I were in charge I would get rid of all the JKC symbols everywhere and replace them with JNK, for instant recognition. JKC just does not bring to mind JuNK. It is obscure and non-obvious, and if you do ifgure out the Cmust mean Coin you're left with figuring what JK means, which pretty much everyone already knows means JoKe.

Hopefully who-ever does take charge would do the same.

Since limitless seems to already have buddies, companies to form, or whatever to pay the bounties to I'd also look into whether maybe letting those already in mind bounty-recipients compete for the bounties does in fact result in bounty-worthy results when the receipt of the bounty is contingent upon worthy results and competition is encouraged.
