It turns out my business liability insurance won't cover this site and it risks me losing my insurance across the board.  Because of that, I won't be developing bidfast any further.

Quick post-mortem: Never took a single BTC from anyone, and paid out all outstanding debts.  I will delete all personal information from the database.  For me, ~$100 and ~ a week's work was an acceptable cost to run an experiment to test the viability of a site like this.

If anyone would like to purchase the code and/or domain behind the site, please PM me.

On to find something else, I suppose.

Welcome to the SaltySpitoon, how Tough are ya?
Sorry, I'm a bit late giving feedback. Anyway, I was playing around in the bidding action, and actually ended up winning one of the .5 BTC auctions. So far the UI looks good, and it seems to all work right.

There are a couple new auctions set up for tomorrow that are scheduled to end around 2:45 PM EST.  One for 0.25BTC and one for 0.5BTC

I've updated everyone's account to have 10 free bids.  You'll need to decide on how to split your bids between the auctions.

Few minutes before original start time of the auctions, you added two identical auctions. From this time I didnt saw time renmaining on all auctions, so for me it was blind auction. But this was the only issue I saw

The bids went smoothly, except maybe the last second before the end of the auction where it seemed like the counter went from 0:01 to 0:00 twice meaning that it did something like 0:01 -> 0:00 -> 0:01 -> 0:00.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  Want to get it fixed before the next one.

Did you ever see the "Going..." message?

I saw that thrice. But other than a few minor hiccups I'm surprised how well the auction went. I participated from my iPhone, so it would be nice to see a mobile version included, maybe just done with some CSS wizardry using relative placements and sizings through percentages. Can't wait for the next auction!

Congrats to djohn for winning the first one.

Thanks everyone for the first test.  Please do leave any feedback.

Had a few timing/display issues that need sorting out.  I'll be looking into those before the next test.

Under Chrome, sometimes when I hover over the auction type link, the description fades in momentarily, but disappears too fast to read.
I think it happens when you hover on/off it before it fully fades in then hover back on.

I'll just give notes here and maybe other people will join in with me.

The first thing about your site is that is looks like a site you'd find on linkbucks or something. What I mean by that is, it just looks to good to be true.
The layout is too basic, not eye popping enough and most people (including myself) would just close without a second though.
Nothing of this site looks like it promises what its saying.

Of course it is beta but a little work can go a long way, I'll still critique it before it goes alpha.
