Many ICO related projects accept newbie participants in different bounty campaigns like media bounty and twitter/facebook bounty. You can search for them in bounties section in altcoin subforum here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
They will pay in tokens after end of their ICO so you might have to wait for more than 2-3 months to convert those token you will get from bounty into bitcoin or usd.
Its not always about your rank in forum, you can also offer your services for bitcoin in this forum if you have some skills like graphic designing, article writing etc.
