I want a list of crypto exchanges where erc20 token can be listed for free.
Centralised and decentralised both.
Thanks in advance
You can win free listing by voting, this is one of the best way to easily get listed on few top exchanges, the other point of mine is to use DEX which can be very unpleasant because of volume and liquidity, in crypto space today is always about money you

You can check out Incognito DEX. It is permissionless decentralized exchange without any listing process. You just list your token from your own account.

But keep in mind that you need to provide liquidity for the both tokens of the pair. However you can withdrawal it any time you want as well.

Bittrex makes listings for free, as they are sure, good projects better spend the assets for development. There are some legal and organizational requirements for listing.

For decentralized exchanges, almost all of them are easy to get listed on. As for centralized exchanges even though some of them don't ask you to pay any fees, you'll find a hard time doing it unless you have a use case for the coin and also a strong user base.

That's true if you are a developer and had a good platform and you have a big and large community, it will have a good chance to get listed, this is the reason why IEO is having a huge success because they are already listed in a big exchange and you will not have to hope it get listed just like when you are investing in IEO, where the chances to get listed in big exchange is very slim.

You are wrong, there are many old and trusted exchange sites which list coin/tokens for free. What they check is the type of project and future of the project. For example Bittrex you can check more of them here.
How is he wrong? OP is asking to have a token listed on an exchange for free. Chances are that this token won't ever appeal to the more reputable exchanges to list it based on fundamentals and user demand.

Also, we don't know for sure if Bittrex isn't accepting payments for listings. They just want to make it look like they are doing the ecosystem a favor by not accepting payments.

If you think about it, exchanges are profit oriented businesses and not charities. It would legit surprise me if they didn't still accept payments for listings behind the scenes. What people don't know can't bother them. Wink
What I mean for What they check is the type of project and future of the project. is mostly free listing exchange like Bittrex and Binance and Gate.io check the project first before listing them. They check the legitment of project, the future of the project, is a project(coin) has any future or its just a project for making money and they always looking for a unique project.

And as I said OP can list his coin on free exchanges if he met their listing requirements. Binance, Huobi(HT), IDEX, and gate.io are the best options

To tell you truth, you will not be able to list your coins to any decent exchanges without a fee. Those exchange which list with zero fee are either brand new exchanges or those exchanges which are not so popular ones. You need to spend some amount if you want to list your coin to good exchanges.

There are many exchanges which are providing free listing for new Tokens or coins. Here are some best of them
Bittrex: Project should be unique and attractive for the team.
Gate: They don't take fees but they pay for "most accurate information submitter"
HotBit: They list within 7 days.

Moreover, you can try DEX sites like IDEX and EtherDelta.

Hotbit doesn't give free listing. they charge some 5 BTC or more for one coin listing. that's what I heard from a Token Project owner.

That's true, I can confirm that. 3-5 BTC is their listing fee.

What I know from their Apply to List is they didn't mention anything regarding listing fee. You can check here https://help.hotbit.io/hc/en-us/articles/115005055073

I thought they list almost every token just like Bilaxy?

Dcoin also lists token for free (claimed) but they don't do any coordination with the team. Just like Bilaxy, they list anything as they wish and even do something as shady as selling lottery tickets for IEO and such.

Getting free listing of your ERC20 token on good centralised exchanges requires it to be good and unique. A number of exchanges let you list your token for free, only if it's good enough in qualities. Contact exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex for the listing, and try to convince them.

Most brand new Exchanges which started their services list tokens/coins for free. As long as they get some users. trading volume and list in CoinMarketcap they start charging money from coin/token owners.
There are several free listing exchanges. you can find more if you do a research and you can look at service announcements section:

Check this thread: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!]

There's little to none listing fee when it comes to dexes, here's some which are not listed on the thread: forkdelta, etherdelta, tokenjar and bisq.
Here on this list it says listing on poloniex and huobi is free.Is it true?
Yes its true but getting listed wont really be that easy.Your token should really be on demand or do have big community or support which would spark out their interest
on listing it out since they do know that they can generate profits with it because of those numbers.

There's one small issue with it. Your token has to be actually desirable both to them and traders.

The NEM foundation has maintained a policy of never, ever paying for listings anywhere. They get listed because it'll bring the people who list them more business.

I think by insisting on that they've lost out, Dash got themselves on to Kraken by paying them $50,000 and XEM still hasn't got a proper fiat pairing after all these years, but they proved a point all the same.

Not sure about Huobi as they haven't mentioned listing fees on their article, but Poloniex listing is free. The thing though, is that their standards are definitely going to be very high. They will likely be asking for documents and such.
