Hello! Has your problem been solved?I've seen that IDAX gets mostly positive reviews from the users. I'm thinking of using it so I'd like to know if you have lost your money on the exchange or not. Thanks in advance!

Hello guys! what do you say about this exchanger. I need to sell coins that are traded only on this exchange. I heard that there are no deposits on the stock exchange. It's true?

Did you even read the posts above yours? What do you mean by stock exchange anyway? Crypto exchange is not a stock exchange.

Basically, you have to be prepared to get locked or get banned if you question their KYC policy or GDPR rules.
Don't go spamming threads with your signature if you don't even bother reading a few posts above yours.

Yea seems like only way for me is the through legal authorities.

you can do this:

They request me to submit kyc (document ID with signature and photo with hand written idax and date).

once you comply with what they are asking and you withdraw your currency, you can close your account and forget about that exchange

yea, thats first what came to my mind, but they do not have that option in account settings and when I asked support they told they "do not offer this service" and they wont close account. After some time they said it is possible to freeze it, but it wasnt done ever before. So basically I would leave them with my full identity details just waiting to get compromised on first security breach  Undecided

Hi Slow death,

I wanted to buy/trade crypto currency, which is with traded only on idax in sufficient liquidity.

Yea seems like only way for me is the through legal authorities. At least others will be more careful going there, or preferable avoid that exchange. Submitting documents in exchange, which refuses to delete your personal data on request and is not GDPR compliant is hazard.

What happened::

I registered on idax.pro, read through terms of use and privacy policy, deposited currency and they are holding it now against my will.
They request me to submit kyc (document ID with signature and photo with hand written idax and date). Nothing about kyc requirement is stated in terms of use or privacy policy or security policy. It is mentioned just in the docs.

When you ask support, they claim to be GDPR compliant, but they refuse to delete my account and return money.

I got banned in their telegram channel, they stopped responding to emails. Refuses to return deposited cryptocurrency even to addr from which this deposit came from.

Any lawyer here willing to help? I dont want to use their platform, just get money back and forget. Cry

PM/Chat Logs:
Here is last response I got before ban on telegram:

Edit1: I emailed this thread to idax.pro support, maybe they will have courage to react here.
Edit2: They basically violating their own terms of use:
1. denies my right to terminate/cancel membership as mentioned in terms of use.
2. they terms of use are not valid, because they do not mention above mentioned withdraw policy
Edit3: reformatted a little to conform with scam accusation template
