In my honest opinion this offer is very fishy and could be some illicit app in the end.
don't think its malware. it is actually a normal app from the playstore.
Apps on PlayStore is not monitored by Google or anyone else for that matter. You can't let your guard down on these obscure apps because you downloaded them from official PlayStore:

Search for more info on these malware, some of them can't be completely uninstalled.
Can confirm; submitted an app to the playstore and it was approved almost instantly. The apple appstore, on the other hand, took like a week.
Apple store requires manual approval, while gplay is only automatic sandbox or something like that, yeah

Beware of wallet stealers and malware on your android phones. Don't install anything you are not sure about, and why is OP using a newbie account and not his usual one?
