I think you should be specific to as what work environments you guys are open to .That will help target niche clients .I suggest you to join a signature campaign as a mandatory part ,you can do other jobs along with that.If you have some free time take an opportunity to leanr banner designing /adobe illustrator /Photoshop as people need lot of designers these days .You could try learning WordPress web designing as well.

6 hours a day/ 5 days a week. you will be responsible for responding customers tciket which doesnt happen very often and also building reputation on webmaster forums.
