BCB, for example, has many many transactions through PayPal.

Ask him how many times he's been scammed. Paypal and Bitcoin do not mix. No amount of excuses or examples can change the fact that bitcoin is irreversible, whereas Paypal is not.

Guys, stop enabling scammers by buying and selling bitcoins through Paypal (it's against their TOS anyway). You'll get scammed as everyone has, there are no exceptions.

There are only 2 outcomes:

  • OP will buy your bitcoins, you'll send them, then you'll find that the Paypal was reversed later
  • OP will sell you bitcoins, you'll send payment, and he won't send the coins

JUST STOP THE NONSENSE. PAYPAL AND BITCOIN DO NOT MIX.
For you, PayPal and BTC do not mix, for others; It's OK.

BCB, for example, has many many transactions through PayPal.

Don't think I am trying to excuse people from scamming through PayPal - I'm not. I think they are all scumbags but don't have such venom to something which works for others just maybe not everyone.

I say this as PayPal, for me, would be the easiest method to buy BTC. If this makes me a scammer then, erm, so be it.

Would you rather I change it to "Giant Dildo" or "Octupus Abuser"? Would that change the validity of what I'm saying?

If you're 'Murican, you can use Dwolla.  PayPal's too much of a hassle and there is no 100% guarantee with it.
There IS use my guide ....
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-how-to-use-paypal-or-indian-credit-and-debit-cards-to-purchase-bitcoins-173966

Bought my second ever batch of coins from them.

Virwox isn't bad but there's a hard limit on how much you can spend on there.  Plus, it doesn't always work; I tried using Virwox to get my first set of BTC but no matter what, it wouldn't work with my card.

Follow my guide setup an Entropay Virtual Card works virtually everywhere every time !

I'm a small-time investor and it can be difficult to find people to sell BTCs at first.  I found a guy who was willing to sell to me when the price was high, but not after the crash..lol.  I guess I can't blame him.  I just placed a tiny order with my Coinbase account which I set up last week.  We will see how that goes - they said they can't deposit my BTC till Thursday.
